Iraq Arrests ISIS Advisors, US And Israelis Held

Agents of both Mossad and CIA contractors are being held on suspicion of aiding ISIS militants.

TEHRAN – Iraqi Special Forces said they have arrested several ISIL’s foreign military advisors, including American, Israeli and Arab nationals in an operation in Mosul in the Northern parts of the country.

The Iraqi forces said they have retrieved four foreign passports, including those that belonged to American and Israeli nationals and one that belonged to the national of a Persian Gulf Cooperation Council (PGCC) member-state, from ISIL’s military advisors.

The foreign advisors were arrested in a military operation in Tal Abta desert near Mosul city.

Last year, a senior aide to Russian President Vladimir Putin accused Mossad of training ISIL terrorists operating in Iraq and Syria.

Alexander Prokhanov said that Mossad is also likely to have transferred some of its spying experiences to the ISIL leadership, adding that Israel’s military advisors could be assisting the Takfiri terrorists.

Prokhanov said ISIL is a byproduct of US policies in the Middle East.

ISIL is a tool at the hands of the United States. They tell the Europeans that if we (the Americans) do not intervene, ISIL will cause you harm,” he said, adding that Iran and Russia are the prime targets of the ISIL.

“They launched their first terror attack against us just a few days back in Chechnya,” he said, stressing that the ISIL ideology has got nothing to do with the Islam practiced in Iran and some other Muslim countries in the Middle East region.

Prokhanov said the United States and Israel are one and the same when it comes to supporting a terror organization like the ISIL.

  The photograph above looks staged. The Golan heights checkpoints would have more fences and barbed wire. The faces of the supposed Israeli soldiers are not shown. Also, the website doesn’t acknowledge the photographer or the photographer’s organization. What identifying details prove these civilian gunmen are part of Jabhat al Nusra, and not some other militia? For all we know, this may be a picture from a training exercise, which would explain why the man on the right is wearing a white vest.

First, no Iraqi official has been cited or quoted, nor has an Iraqi special operator been quoted while speaking anonymously. Second, passports only prove they were foreigners. Third, this report has not been repeated in any non-Western countries besides Iran. Not even Syria’s regime published this report, and they would have the most to gain from it.

      You have absolutely no idea how inaccurate an air drop can be, do you? Ever watch them do an air drop in the movies? They always exaggerate the closeness of the troops to the drop zone. In reality, troops have to stay about 200 yards clear of an intended drop zone of about 600 yards in length. Sometimes, the chutes fail to deploy. Bad air drops happen more frequently than a non-military type like yourself would know. Thankfully, the majority of the crates landed in the Kurdish held areas of Kobane. It’s highly doubtful that the U.S. would launch so many airstrikes to help the Kurds, or that the Kurds would have every airstrike they requested so easily approved if the U.S. really wanted ISIS to win. If these ‘oligarchs’ can come up with so many elaborate plans, then they should have been able to figure out that the YPG are no pushovers on the ground for ISIS. Recently, a defecting Turkish security official escaped from prison and blew the lid off of the complicity of the Erdogan Regime with the terrorist attacks on Syria. This story makes sense since the SAA has effectively sealed the resupply leaks from Turkey and Lebanon. So, we are seeing a shift to ship arms in through Iraq and Jordan. Using a helicopter marked as American would be the perfect cover for arms smuggling to the terrorists regardless of their cover name.

The ‘space’ of time (approximately 2.5 years) between period when Al Qaeda was funded and when he called for Jihad on the West proves that, at the time of the Afghan-Soviet War, the U.S. government could not have produced accurate intel that Bin Laden would later call for Jihad on the West, unless they had a very good psychic. A simpler chart would be 1) Bin Laden fights against the Soviets, 2) Bin Laden works in the family business, 3) Bin Laden declares Jihad on the West. Why would he even be on the radar as a threat to the U.S. back in the 1980’s when he was fighting the Soviets? He wouldn’t. Yes, the U.S. indirectly, maybe even directly, funded Al Qaeda in the 1980’s. Does that prove Al Qaeda is controlled by the U.S. government today? No. To prove that, you would need to prove intentional (not accidental) arming and funding of Al Qaeda, as directed by the highest echelons of the CIA, Congressmen on the various national security and oversight committees, and the president. You would also need to prove frequent direct communication between high-ranking government officials and top Al Qaeda leadership. Do you have enough evidence to prove all that? Again, conspiracy theories are silly because they allege so much with so little evidence.

        I just did a Wiki search. The 1982 invasion was prompted by an assassination attempt against the Isreali ambassador in the UK. The PLO was blamed for the attempted hit and Isreal invaded lebanon where the PLO was based as retaliation and very quickly reached Beirut. The Isreali air foce also shot down almost 100 syrian migs over the bekaa value as the syrians had bases in lebanon. It was a very significant air victory for the Isrealis. After US pressure to withdraw from Beirut the Isrealis pulled back to create a buffer in southern lebanon. After about 20 years of back and forth raids from and against hezbola diplomatic pressure was applied and the Isreali govt agreed to leave the buffer as long as UN forces replaced them.

“But ISIS has never attacked Israel so they must be working for Israel!” Try looking at a map. ISIS doesn’t control any of the small part of Syria that borders Israel. ISIS would have to sneak through miles of hostile territory just to even see Israel. I really doubt the Syrian military and militia groups that are openly hostile to ISIS would just let them waltz through their territory unharmed just so they carry out an attack on Israeli soil.

That would likely bring Israel into the war and then the already strained and stretched thin Syrian Army and Hezbollah brigades would be sandwiched between the IDF, ISIS and the other unaffiliated rebels groups that they’re currently fighting against. Not great spot to be in strategically speaking.

I doubt it – I used to watch RT but since the Ukraine invasion their propaganda is too much – and this does not mean that US media coverage is great, it also is biased, but not a full-blown propaganda op. like Russia’s. Both the US and Israel have been helping the Free Syria Army, and Saudis and Turkey, Qatar have all been interfering, but creating and supporting IS is a very long way round for US and Israel to go. Russia of course supports Assad and Hezbollah, so they have a vested interest in protecting their clients, and one would need to know WHICH Iraqis found that ‘evidence,’ which could just as easily be the documents of IS operatives abroad.

I did find links that implied the US was funding them….all of them looked like conspiracy theory sites, so I can’t say I read them.
