There Will Be No Repercussions for the Media’s RussiaGate Conspiracy Theorists

The Mueller report’s conclusions are bound to fuel conservative critics of the media and make any exposures of actual wrongdoing less impactful, as the president will be able to brush it off as another example of fake news.

Donald Trump | Russia Collusion

WASHINGTON – Friday marked the end of months of speculation, as Special Counsel and former FBI Director Robert Mueller delivered his report into alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election to the attorney general. The headline conclusion of Mueller’s report was reported far and wide: there would be no new indictments for collusion. As the New

Congress Fails to Discover Collusion to Subvert the 2016 Election — Again

There are daily newspaper reports explaining how Mueller’s noose is tightening around Trump, though no one quite explains how that is so. What is clear is that Trump is an immoral man and that a lot of his friends were engaged in activity that might be described as sleazy. But sleazy does not equate to a deliberate attempt to fix a national election and subvert the Constitution of the United States of America.

There have been a number of developments in the endless inquiry into possible collusion between the Russian government and Donald Trump to manipulate perceptions and voting relating to the two presidential candidates in the November 2016 election. In particular, it has been alleged that the Russians were, with the connivance of some in the Trump

There is a struggle being waged for the soul of the nation, for the very identity of America. And it has polarised opinion. Not for nothing do some refer to the situation in America today as a ‘peaceful’ civil war. Unless something changes

Did Russia Hack State Election Systems? DHS Says Yes, No, Maybe

The AP reported that the DHS – in a stunning reversal – told Wisconsin election officials that the Russian government did not scan any part of the state’s voting system, asserting that it was actually the state’s Dept. of Workforce Development that was scanned by “Russian IP addresses.”

Voters use electronic voting machines at the Schiller Recreation Center polling station on election day, Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015, in Columbus, Ohio.

While it seemed as though the “Russiagate” hysteria was beginning to lose steam, corporate media outlets in recent weeks have worked to rekindle the scandal through a series of stories that purport to expose the meddling of the Russian government in last year’s U.S. presidential election. One of those stories, first published by The Associated

Hillary Non-Indictment Proves Only the Poor and Unconnected Have to Follow Laws

Two people committed the same crimes: One was a sailor in the Navy, the other was Hillary Clinton. Guess which one got charged?

HiIlary Rodham Clinton

Hillary Clinton, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, seems to have prevailed in yet another scuffle with the law. Days after U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch had a meeting with former President Bill Clinton, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) released a statement from FBI Director James B. Comey claiming that after its
