Where Should American Muslims Stand In The American Political System?

November 22, 2016 By Ali Salaam 2 Comments

Over 70 percent of American Muslims said they would likely vote for Hillary Clinton in 2016 in a poll conducted by the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), leaving 12 percent undecided and 5 percent voting for either the Green or Libertarian Party.

But is the Democratic Party the rightful home for American Muslims, or as Malcolm X said in his autobiography, are American Muslims being duped by the liberal sly fox?

On all major issues, a President Hillary Clinton would be just as detrimental to the American Muslim community as President-elect Donald Trump.

After Being Targeted By The UK Gov’t, British Rapper Lowkey Returns

August 3, 2016 By Ali Salaam 8 Comments

Throughout history, people who have risen to the occasion to speak about justice, equality, love, liberty, and peace have been targeted by the tyrannical governments that serve captains of industry.

Nowhere is this more true than of British independent hip-hop artist and revolutionary political thinker, Lowkey.

After a four year hiatus, Lowkey returned last week with a new single called “Ahmed,” with a video produced by the independent British media collective GlobalFaction, and announced an upcoming tour of England.

Barrett Brown, Freedom Of The Press, And The Failed Shield Law

July 22, 2015 By Ali Salaam 2 Comments

It’s been one year since journalist Barrett Brown was recently sentenced to 63 months, or 5 years in prison, while the corporate state he was trying to expose walks free, continuing their crimes against humanity.

Perhaps George Orwell said it best: “Journalism is printing what someone else does not want printed. Everything else is public relations.”

The American government has no interest in protecting press freedom. They just want to protect the press that serves the agenda of war and limi the political conversation to only the two parties. Forget objectivity on the Middle East: Rupert Murdoch is in the oil business in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights with Lord Jacob Rothschild, whose family created the Federal Reserve as well as Israel’s Supreme Court Building, and Dick Cheney; Wolf Blitzer is a former AIPAC lobbyist; and Anderson Cooper was a former intern at the CIA.
