Trump Team Promises To ‘Deal With Iran’ Before New Administration Comes To Power

(ANALYSIS) — After launching the disastrous missile strikes against Syrian military forces that resulted in the killing of Syrian soldiers, civilians, and children as well as sending ships toward North Korea in a flagrant act of aggression and dropping the largest known non-nuclear bomb on Afghanistan, the Trump administration is now taking aim at Iran.

Sounding much like it did after its bizarre and unprovoked “putting Iran on notice” speech made by former Trump administration official Michael Flynn, the United States is now “reviewing its policy” on Iran and warning the world of the dangers of a nuclear Iran.

Ironically, the United States is warning of an Iran terrorizing the world with its bombs, funding “militias” across the world, and expanding its influence in the region by force as well as unprovoked aggression against specific countries. If there were a field of psychology for geopolitics, these statements would be classified as a clear example of projection if ever there was one.

“Whether it be assassination attempts, support of weapons of mass destruction, deploying destabilizing militias, Iran spends its treasure and time disrupting peace,” Tillerson said. “An unchecked Iran has the potential to travel the same path as North Korea ‒ and take the world along with it.”

“Iran is the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism, and is responsible for intensifying multiple conflicts and undermining US interests in countries such as Syria, Yemen, Iraq and Lebanon, and continuing to support attacks against Israel.”

“An unchecked Iran has the potential to travel the same path as North Korea ‒ and take the world along with it,” he added.

Tillerson also stated that Iran supports the “brutal Assad regime” and that it supports the Houthis in Yemen, as well as accusing Iran of “undermining security in Iraq for years” by virtue of its support for Quds forces fighting there. Tillerson also accused Iran of maintaining “a long-standing hostility towards Israel, providing weapons, training, and funding to Hamas and other Palestinian terrorist organizations.”

“A comprehensive Iran policy requires that we address all of the threats posed by Iran, and it is clear there are many,” he said.

Tillerson then turned to the Iran nuclear deal which has been the target of both the Trump administration and traditional Republicans since day one, claiming that it “fails to achieve the objective of a non-nuclear Iran ‒ it only delays their goal of becoming a nuclear state. This deal represents the same failed approach of the past that brought us to the current imminent threat that we face from North Korea.”

Tillerson added that “The Trump administration has no intention of passing the buck to a future administration on Iran. The evidence is clear: Iran’s provocative actions threaten the United States, the region, and the world.” In addition, he stated that the United States will “meet the challenges Iran poses with clarity and conviction” after the policy review is over.

Tillerson echoed statements uttered by Defense Secretary James Mattis earlier in the week, who accused Iran of trying to destabilize the Middle East. “Everywhere you look if there is trouble in the region, you find Iran. We will have to overcome Iran’s efforts to destabilize yet another country and create another militia in their image of Lebanese Hezbollah but the bottom line is, we are on the right path for it.” Mattis’ statement came after meeting with senior Saudi officials in Riyadh.

    The Path To Persia

The plan for a Western or a Western/Israeli attack on Iran, along with the theater of alleged US-Israeli tensions leading up to a strike and outright war, has been in the works for some time. For instance, in 2009, the Brookings Institution, a major banking, corporate, and military-industrial firm, released a report entitled “Which Path To Persia? Options For A New American Strategy For Iran,” in which the authors mapped out a plan which leaves no doubt as to the ultimate desire from the Western financier, corporate, and governing classes.

The plan involves the description of a number of ways the Western oligarchy would be able to destroy Iran including outright military invasion and occupation. However, the report attempts to outline a number of methods that might possibly be implemented before direct military invasion would be necessary. The plan included attempting to foment destabilization inside Iran via the color revolution apparatus, violent unrest, proxy terrorism, and “limited airstrikes” conducted by the US, Israel or both.

Interestingly enough, the report states that any action taken against Iran must be done after the idea that Iran has rejected a fair and generous offer by the West has been disseminated throughout the general public. The report reads,

…any military operation against Iran will likely be very unpopular around the world and require the proper international context— both to ensure the logistical support the operation would require and to minimize the blowback from it. The best way to minimize international opprobrium and maximize support (however, grudging or covert) is to strike only when there is a widespread conviction that the Iranians were given but then rejected a superb offer—one so good that only a regime determined to acquire nuclear weapons and acquire them for the wrong reasons would turn it down. Under those circumstances, the United States (or Israel) could portray its operations as taken in sorrow, not anger, and at least some in the international community would conclude that the Iranians “brought it on themselves” by refusing a very good deal.

Ironically, it is admitted by the authors of the report that the Iranians are not governed by lunatics intent on nuking the world but by entirely rational players. Still, they move forward with a number of options for attacking Iran. It should thus be obvious to anyone reading this report that the US, NATO, and Israel are uninterested in peace with Iran and are entirely focused on war and Iranian destruction.

“The so-called “Iran deal,” introduced during the administration of US President Barack Obama, represents precisely this “superb offer,” with Flynn’s accusations serving as the “turn down” ahead of the “sorrowful” war and attempted regime change the US had always planned to target Tehran with,” writes Tony Cartalucci of Land Destroyer Report.

The report continues to discuss the citations that could be used for an attack on Iran, clearly stating its intentions to create a plan to goad a non-threatening nation into war. It states,

The truth is that these all would be challenging cases to make. For that reason, it would be far more preferable if the United States could cite an Iranian provocation as justification for the airstrikes before launching them. Clearly, the more outrageous, the more deadly, and the more unprovoked the Iranian action, the better off the United States would be. Of course, it would be very difficult for the United States to goad Iran into such a provocation without the rest of the world recognizing this game, which would then undermine it. (One method that would have some possibility of success would be to ratchet up covert regime change efforts in the hope that Tehran would retaliate overtly, or even semi-overtly, which could then be portrayed as an unprovoked act of Iranian aggression.)

The question of the Israeli role in the possible attack against Iran is also mentioned by Brookings. In fact, in the chapter entitled, “Allowing or Encouraging An Israeli Military Strike,” Brookings not only outlines a potential strategy but essentially admits that the US-Israeli tension being hyped in the Western media is nothing more than a farce. It says,

..the most salient advantage this option has over that of an American air campaign is the possibility that Israel alone would be blamed for the attack. If this proves true, then the United States might not have to deal with Iranian retaliation or the diplomatic backlash that would accompany an American military operation against Iran. It could allow Washington to have its cake (delay Iran’s acquisition of a nuclear weapon) and eat it, too (avoid undermining many other U.S. regional diplomatic initiatives).

    Why Iran?

There are a number of reasons why the United States and the NATO imperial army would like to see Iran destroyed over the coming years. Geopolitical reasons are, of course, front and center.

On one level, the Israeli connection stands as one obvious reason the United States has maintained an anti-Iran posture for nearly two decades. Iran not only stands as a regional opponent to the whims and aims of the Israeli settler state, but it also bankrolls and supports one of the greatest forces of opposition to Israel directly due to its close proximity and the militia’s military prowess. Indeed, Israel was humiliated by Hezbollah in front of the world in 2006. Thus, if Iran is destroyed, Hezbollah goes with it and two of Israel’s biggest and most effective opponents disappear from the game board.

The United States also sees Iran as an opponent due to Iran’s resistance to the Anglo-American insistence on the global hegemony of its “Western” system of financial and corporate overseers in a plantation owned by a world oligarchy. Iran stands in opposition to the Western system because it refuses to engage in a system private central banking as well as corporate and private financier domination of its society and culture. Maintaining its own national bank has long been a source of irritation for Wall Street and City of London vampires eager to sink their fangs into the blood supply of every nation on earth. In addition, Iran has recently announced that it would be dropping the U.S. dollar for some other currency or basket of currencies beginning March 21, a sure sign that a Western war of aggression is most definitely on the horizon.

Iran also remains a close Russian ally and the last domino that needs to fall before the great Anglo-American army can march forward directly into Russia and break the largest country in the world into “manageable” parts.[1] Once Iran is destroyed, Russia will be largely isolated and left to face the NATO alliance which has been slowly surrounding Russia over the last two decades.

The Trump Administration’s false labeling of Iran as the biggest sponsor of terrorism, ignoring the fact that Iran is one of the most important players in the fight against ISIS and Sunni Islamic extremism in the Middle East as well as the fact that American ally Saudi Arabia is perhaps the biggest purveyor of terrorism in the world, tells everyone what we need to know going forward – the plan to destroy Iran is marching forward without a hitch in another example of seamless transition.

Of course, Iran is opposing America’s policies in Yemen, Syria, Iraq, and Lebanon. It should. The United States’ policy is that of funding, directing, and manipulating terrorists for the purpose of destroying sovereign countries, backing a brutal racist Israeli regime that continually attacks its neighbors and supporting an equally brutal Saudi dictatorship intentionally slaughtering the Yemeni people. If this is what Iran is opposing, the world owes it a debt of gratitude.

Wow, Mattis, Tillerson, et al are really pouring the propaganda on thick. ‘Projection’ is an understatement.

“Everywhere you look if there is trouble in the region, you find Iran.”

What the what? They cannot possibly think we are that stupid. Goebbels would be proud.

      1) NO evidence, of any sort, has EVER been produced of an Iranian nuclear weapons program. The production of industrial and medical isotopes also produces trace amounts of “weapons grade” material – quantities far too small for weapons production. NPT Commission inspectors have never found more than these trace amounts.

      2) Netanyahu, the Israeli PM, has been screaming about an “Iranian Bomb in a year or two” FOR TWENTY-FIVE YEARS. So far, he has accomplished nothing other than looking like a fool and using the AIPAC/Rothschild-Bilderberg cartel members to blackmail the United States Government.

      3) Iran has NOT ATTACKED ANY COUNTRY IN 250 YEARS. Iran does provide support to Hamas (the ELECTED government of Gaza), Hezbollah (formed by the legitimate Lebanese government to resist an Israeli invasion of that country), Syria (the LEGITIMATE government of Syria fighting against the FOREIGN TERRORISTS attacking that country).

      4) Israel can not attack Iran independently without the use of Israel’s nuclear weapons. Israel has no transport for troops or equipment. If Israel used conventional missiles, Iran is a HUGE target, very difficult to attack. Israel is a tiny target – EASY to attack and Iran’s conventional missile force is equal to Israel’s. If Israel used nuclear weapons, the entire world would turn on Israel and the US could not protect it’s Jewish masters.

      5) If the US were to attack Iran, a 2011 Pentagon report stated that war with Iran would cost three to five times the US casualties of the Vietnam war and would destroy the US economy. That is IF Russia and China didn’t aid Iran. In that case, either the US would be defeated conventionally or destroyed in a nuclear war.

      6) There are hundreds of thousands of Christians, Buddhists and followers of other religions in Iran. Even almost ten thousand Jews (hated by Israel because they are a constant black eye for the Jews’ state). These people all follow their own religions in COMPLETE FREEDOM. The ONLY restriction on their practice is that they may not preach their faith in public. Conversion back and forth between religions, is not uncommon.

      7) Homosxxuality is as common in the Middle East, Including Iran, as in the rest of the world. The primary difference in Muslim countries is that open sxxual displays are strongly frowned on in their culture – especially so for gays. It’s the same in Nebraska or Mississippi. Only, the disapproval is official for Muslims. It’s a punishable offence for a married hetro couple to kiss in public. Gays who demand what they see as “Gay Rights” on TV are in grave danger.

      8) In Iran there is almost no homelessness, No Iranian child goes to bed hungry. Iranian health care is excellent and FREE. Iranian education is excellent and FREE. Severe poverty almost does not exist in Iran. SAD THAT AMERICANS CAN’T SAY THE SAME ABOUT THE UNITED STATES.

Since 1980, the Zio-Anglo-American campaign to destabilise Iran and bring regime change has so far failed miserably. Iran is united, strong and most importantly is armed with power of justice. The Zionist lobby both in America and Europe has bought many corrupt politicians and made them obedient to its own racist and hegemonies agenda. US army is being manipulated to fight the ever continuing wars in proxy. The normal American citizen has no interest in suppressing and causing destruction on other nations. Americans are being led to slaughter on behalf of Zionists. Iran, has never invaded or occupied other people’s land. Criminal Israel did and still is and its aggressive policies towards its neighbours calls for intervention from all peace loving states. But USA, is shackled by Zionists and is now in the trench of Zionists fighting against peace and security.
But time is changing. The forces of peace will stand firmly in any attempt by the Zio-Anglo-American to attack Iran or indeed any other sovereign nation.

Patterns of Torture in Post-’67 Occupied Territories

Each detention center features interrogators with “apparent predilections.” The Russian Compound [Moscobiya] interrogators in Jerusalem “favor assaults on the g3nitals, besides endurance tests such as holding a chair with outstretched arms or standing on one leg.”

The specialty of the military center at Sarafand is to blindfold prisoners for long periods, assault them with dogs and hang them by their wrists. The specialty at Ramallah is “an@l assault.” Electric shock torture is used almost universally. [136]

Fazi Abdel Wahed Nijim was arrested in July 1970. He was tortured at Sarafand and set upon by dogs. Arrested again in July 1973, he was beaten in Gaza prison. Zudhir al-Dibi was arrested in February 1970 and interrogated in Nablus where he was whipped and beaten on the soles of his feet. His test!cles were squeezed and he was hosed with ice water.

Shehadeh Shalaldeh was arrested in August 1969 and interrogated at Moscobiya. A ballpoint refill was pushed into his pen!s. Abed al-Shalloudi was held without trial for sixteen months. Blindfolded and handcuffed while at Moscobiya, he was beaten by Naim Shabo, an Iraqi Jew, Director of the Minorities Department.

Jamil Abu Ghabiyr was arrested in February 1976 and held in Moscobiya. He was beaten on the head, body and g3nitals and made to lie in ice water. Issam Atif al Hamoury was arrested in October 1976. In Hebron prison the authorities arranged his rap3 by a prisoner trustee. [137]

In February 1969, Rasmiya Odeh was arrested and brought to Moscobiya. Her father, Joseph, and two sisters were detained for interrogation. Joseph Odeh was kept in one room while Rasmiya was beaten nearby. When they brought him to her she was lying on the floor in blood-stained clothes. Her face was blue, her eye black. In his presence, they held her down and shoved a stick into her vag!na. One of the interrogators ordered Joseph Odeh “to fvck” his daughter. When he refused they began beating both him and Rasmiya. They again spread her legs and shoved the stick into her. She was bleeding from the mouth, face and vag!na when Joseph Odeh fell unconscious. [138]

The patterns of torture reported by the Sunday Times are similar to those found in hundreds of testimonies published by Israeli lawyers, Felicia Langer and Lea Tsemel, by Palestinian lawyers Walid Fahoum and Raja Shehadeh, by Amnesty International and the National Lawyers Guild and the series of accounts this author documented from former prisoners. [139]

This record is established in the West Bank as early as 1968, one year after the occupation began. Although the International Committee of the Red Cross does not, as a rule, make public declarations, it had prepared in 1968 a finding of torture. Its Report on Nablus Prison concluded:

A number of detainees have undergone torture during interrogation by the military police. According to the evidence, the torture took the following forms:

        1. Suspension of the detainee by the hands and the simultaneous traction of his other members for hours at a time until he loses consciousness

        2. Burns with cigarette stubs

        3. Blows by rods on the g3nitals

        4. Tying up and blindfolding for days

        5. Bites by dogs

        6. Electric shocks at the temples, the mouth, the chest and test!cles. [140]

Israeli Propagandists Threaten Destruction of Europe as Punishment for Boycotting Israel

The blast in Yemen, shown below, is suspected by some in the IAEA of being a small tactical nuclear device fired/dropped by an Israeli war plane during the period in which Israel was participating in the slaughter in Yemen. The truth can’t be determined, apparently, until scientists can access the area.

Martin Van Creveld, a professor of military history at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, has been quoted as saying: “Most European capitals are targets for our air force….We have the capability to take the world down with us. And I can assure you that that will happen before Israel goes under.”

Israeli official justified Israel’s threats. “You Americans screwed us” in not supporting Israel in its 1956 war with Egypt. We can still remember the smell of Auschwitz and Treblinka. Next time we’ll take all of you with us.”

Ariel Sharon said “We are much more important than Americans think. We can take the middle east with us whenever we go” and “Arabs may have the oil, but we have the matches.”

Israeli President,Shimon Peres has admitted that nuclear weapons are used by Israel for “compellent purposes” – i.e., forcing others to accept Israeli political demands. In 1998 Peres was quoted as saying, “We have built a nuclear option, not in order to have a Hiroshima, but to have our own Oslo.” (BLACKMAIL)

Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir, said “If left to its own Israel will have no choice but to fall back on a riskier defense which will endanger itself and the world at large… To enable Israel to abstain from dependence on nuclear arms calls for $2 to 3 billion per year in U.S. aid.” (Clear Blackmail)

The state of Israel has violated every treaty they have signed. Today they are the world’s most prolific violator of international law. According to the Pentagon, Israel has between 200 and 400 nuclear weapons, ranging from suitcase-size “terrorist” bombs to thermonuclear warheads. Israel also has deployed the “Jericho III” intercontinental ballistic missile system, capable of delivering a nuclear warhead to the Central United States. They also have submarines capable of launching nuclear armed missiles anywhere in the world.
