Killed ISIS Commander’s Cell Phone Shows Direct Ties To Turkish Intelligence

Former US Department of State senior adviser David Phillips said, “Turkey’s role has not been ambiguous — it has overtly supported the ISIL. It has provided logistical support, money, weapons, transport and healthcare to wounded warriors.”

Baghdad, Iraq – An ISIS commander was killed in Salahuddin province and his body was searched. A cell phone retrieved from the corpse revealed messages from Turkish intelligence services proving the NATO country was providing security for ISIS militants when they traveled between Turkey and Iraq. This is the second NATO country implicated in assisting ISIS troops. The first was Canada.

The IS commander was killed by Hashd al-Shaabi, a loyalist volunteer force. Jabbar al-Ma’mouri, a leader within the force made the announcement. He said, “The mobile phone also contains other important information which cannot be disclosed now, and it has been delivered to the specialized security groups for further scrutiny.”

Turkey and the ISIS share two enemies: President Assad of Syria and the Kurdish people. This incident comes on the heels of the Turkish Air Force shooting down a Russian plane engaged in operations against the Islamic State. Ten days ago, Turkey invaded Iraq briefly. It sent its troops to within a few hundred miles of where the phone was recovered. Turkish artillery has also rained shells down on the Kurdish community of Kobane.

While the western media seems to be overlooking and downplaying NATO support for the Islamic State, some senior US officials are speaking out. Former US Department of State senior adviser David Phillips said, “Turkey’s role has not been ambiguous — it has overtly supported the ISIL. It has provided logistical support, money, weapons, transport and healthcare to wounded warriors.”

Across the border in Syria, President Assad blasted western adventurism in Syria and cast the NATO powers as an obstacle to peace. He said, “There are only a few countries ready for this. No one dares to establish contact with Syria to resolve the situation as long as it does not appear on the agenda of the United States.”

Turkey is a two faced back stabbing bunch of terrorist financing dirtbags. They are not our friends and don’t need to be a member of nato.

    • Petar Kuz

Edrogan should be hanged, – Turks should be kicked out of NATO right away- they will start the World war counting that NATO and US will come to their aid, (article V),–

    • Petar Kuz

Turks, Turks and Turks again, – US should be a shame to tolerate and support those lying sunny Turks, – one more prove to the World that NATO member Countries are in the game with Islamists and in a business of terrorizing smaller Countries , Turks should be kicked out of NATO right away, and they criminal organization should be dismantled too, – no wonder Russians are inproving their nuke stockpiles ,

    • Alex Wen

The world would be much better that the American , Europe and Russia should create a new world order with
China also. The war in the middle is really about Islam and it’s mess on the Islamic ideologies. Let the muslims
solve their problem. Do not take the refugees into Europe that just what the muslim wanted to flood their religion to the west. Resettled the refugees back to the middle east. You notice that muslim countries do not even want to take the refugees even though they are so call brothers and sisters! So it damn silly if western countries want to resettled them. Accept only christian one. Also stop all sanctions with Russia and any other countries to stimulate world’ trade.

      • beaglebailey

Actually the war in the Middle East is about US hegemony, invading country after country so that the corporations can get their hands on other country’s resources.
The Muslims don’t want to spread their religion to the west, they want and need a place to live since nato destroyed their country and homes. And the U.S. and its allies have messed with Muslim countries for decades.
And why do you think that that the world needs a new world order?
World trade doesn’t need stimulating. What do you think that the TPP is about? It isn’t about trade, it’s so that corporations can do business in any country that they want to and get around regulations.
If a state here in the U.S. has banned fracking or raised the minimum wage, they can sue and 3 judges that work for the corporations can over rule the state’s laws.
You should do some research about what the war on terror is really about and research the TPP.
I don’t know where you are getting your information, but try reading the intercept, counter punch
Most of your comment makes no sense.

        • Alex Wen

Saudi Arabia , Qatar, UAE are some of the muslim countries not accepting any muslims refugees.
These are some example many other muslim countries also accept zero refugees. Why the stupid christian countries want muslims in their countries? Same in Thailand muslims streaming from Bangladesh into buddhist countries. Causing frictions in Myanmar and so on. What I am saying the muslims do not want their own kind. For christian countries to accept them will result in future problems as seen in France and China and so on. Muslims do not live in harmony with others that I know. They only fear harsh punishments sad to say. They do not appreciate what is freedom because they need to pray 5 times to brainwash themselves everyday. Also they are prone to psychopathic behaviours to settle grievances -eye for an eye. Also it is damn silly for Europe and America to isolate Russia and even china by using sanction . It will only cause depression and world’s stagnation. Tpp has one big problem it may destroy a country charm and unique way of life . Sometimes we may not use the cheapest form of production because it maybe not healthy. In the case for example free range chicken versus chicken coop production.

      So what ?

Should Ordughan sign a letter that is assisting ISIS ???
there are so many evidences that shows Turkey is supporting ISIS but European countries and US present to be stupid on this fact and closed their eyes as usual on terrorists !!
the problem is that western countries divided the terrorists to GOOD and BAD !!
Good terrorists are those like ISIS and Al Qaeda …..who are killing Syrians , Iranian , Iranian , ….!!

      • formerusaf

Putin has no delusion of Erdogan’s objective of protection/support of ISIS despite Turkey’s limited support to the feckless NATO allies

      • JIML

That doesn’t matter, there could be overwhelming evidence and US/NATO/UN would never use it against Turkey.

    • margor

The Turks are two faced as are the Saudis. Now that they’ve formed a “united front” we should withdraw and let them sort out the ARABIC mess. Sadly it seems that no one in a “leadership” position/role sees how we are being played by both those nations along with PAKISTAN in terms of the hatred being leveled at various Western interests. I think it imperative that the US & RUSSIA stop allowing themselves to be PLAYED and re-evaluate their roles in the MIDDLE EAST. I think it equally imperative that the US change course and cooperate with RUSSIA in the MIDDLE EAST, in fact I think it’s time the US & RUSSIA realize that the war there is about ISLAM and not about SYRIA. It’s the old SUNNI v SHIITE conflict rearing it’s ugly head and RUSSIA & the USA find themselves on opposite sides of an ARAB CONFLICT. It’s not ours aka the USA’s or RUSSIA’s fight it’s an ISLAMIC WAR. We need to pull out or force ISLAMIC REFORMATION NOW before it’s to late. PEACE!

          • zipper

Uh huh. Give me your sources for those “facts.” Now here’s a little tidbit that might surprise you:
“The study, from the nonpartisan wealth research firm New World Wealth,
found that of the 13.1 million millionaires in the world, 7.4 million,
or 56.2 percent, identify themselves as Christian when asked about their
religion. Fully 6.5 percent of millionaires identified themselves as
Muslim, 3.9 percent identified themselves as Hindu and 1.7 percent
identified themselves as Jewish.” – CNBC 1/14/2015

According to Forbes, 11.6% of world’s billionaires are Jews. The wealthiest among them Earned their fortunes by owning successful businesses.

So much for your “80%” nonsense. Also, your statement, “the jews(sic)” implies some sort of collectivism, like All Jews are in that category; Another fail.

a survey conducted by the Boston Review shows nearly 25% of Americans
blame the Jews for their economic problems.

I guess you’re just one of the ignorant 25% minority, Jay.

          • zipper

Gee, I thought the UN created the modern state of Israel. Besides that, many Rothschilds were supporters of Zionism, while other members of the family opposed the creation of the Jewish state. So, your “simple” statement is wrong.
People and institutions with great wealth, regardless of their religious affiliation, will ALWAYS have disproportionate influence. That’s life; deal with it, Brother.

            • Brother nathanael ™

              • zipper

Really? My, my, my, and all my history lessons taught me that it was the entangled alliances and enormous arms race in Europe that set-off WW1, along with rising nationalism and mutual distrust.
And WW2 was always attributed to the imperialist ambitions of Japan and Germany.
Now you tell me it was actually a flippin’ Bank that fomented the two greatest catastrophes in modern history. Imagine that! (I think you did)

Modern day Turkey was created of the planned mass Genocide, and mostly for theft of wealth and property, of 1.5 million ORIGINAL Christian Armenians, 500K Pontiff Greeks and nearly 900K Christian Assyrians. These people were killed in ways you cant begin to imagine. The word was invented using what the Turks did as one of its prime examples. 23 country’s and 44 United States officially call these events GENOCIDE as do ALL GENOCIDE HISTORIANS.. Today Turkey installs a state of mass amnesia where they teach a counter history to pretend that the poor Turks were victims and just trying to protect themselves. This is out best NATO ally? Nonsense.

    • headlessjester

      of course it did….

    • Tim Francis

Turkey is doing exactly what the WH wants it to do. Its obvious the UW/WH has been supportive of ISIS since it helped start them in Syria in 2010-2011. Why did our supply drops in Kobani always miss and land on ISIS? Why was ISIS able to capture tanks, trunks, ordinance and supplies so easily in Iraq to take back over the border to use against Syria? Why did the US treat them so kindly until other countries decided to try and stop the scourge? Yeah, blame Turkey for following the order of the WH in the United States.

    • Flick

I see a lot of Turks on here claiming that this article and others like it are lies. This implies a strong support for Erdogan. Erdogan’s son has been profiting from the transport and sale of oil extracted by Daesh. Erdogan’s daughter ran (and may still be running) a hospital just across the border from Daesh-held territory where Daesh fighters wounded in action were brought for medical treatment. To the Turkish people: I think you need to figure out what matters to you– truth or national pride. If truth matters more to you than national pride, you need to start organizing now to remove Erdogan from office and replace him with a non-Islamist-supporting leader.

    • Lucky Da Silva

It is my belief that Saudi Arabia and Turkey are financing and providing assistance to the ISIS, as it is a Muslim operation

      • headlessjester

…you don’t say. Are you implying that they could possibly be turning a blind eye to ISIS as a means of establishing Sunni power in Iraq vice a Shia (Iran) based one?

        Say it ain’t so….

      • Mark Volker

        Don’t forget Obama!

    • Michael Grosser

Just read about Turkey in WWII. Quite informative…. “Turkey was neutral until several months before the end of the war, at which point it joined the Allies. Prior to the outbreak of war, Turkey signed a Mutual Aid Pact with France and Britain in 1939. After the German invasion of France, however, Turkey remained neutral, relying on a clause excusing them if military action might bring conflict with the USSR, which, after the division of Poland, Turkey feared. Then, in June, 1941, after neighboring Bulgaria joined the Axis and allowed Germany to move troops through to invade Yugoslavia and Greece Turkey signed a non-aggression pact with Germany. Turkey was an important producer of chromite, which is a key ingredient in the manufacture of stainless steel and refractory brick and Germany had limited access to it. The key issue in Turkey’s negotiations with both sides was the sale of chromite to Germany or to the Allies. The allies had access to other sources and mainly bought the chromite in order to preclude its sale to Germany. Turkey halted its sales to Germany in April, 1944 and broke off relations in August. Turkey declared war on the Axis powers in February, 1945, after the Allies made its invitation to the inaugural meeting of the United Nations (along with the invitations of several other nations) conditional on full belligerency. No Turkish troops ever saw combat.”

      • zipper

Add to that the fact that they fought on the side of the Central Powers in WW1 against the Allies.

    • pfbulmer

This is hardly a surprise ? What will be a bigger surprise if their are no telephone numbers directly listed with intelligence services in Saudi and Qatar . There will be no doubt whole host of sunnis contacts . After all ISIL is the same religious Sunni sect as the Gulf Kingdoms . That is why the idea that they or Sunnis moderates are going to fighting ISIL to death is shear fantasy ! Only Russia, Iran and Syrian government have a vested interested in putting troops on the ground to obliterate Sunni ISIL in Syria ! And unless a diplomatic deal is going to be done in Iraq to support the minority Sunnis in Iraq ,progress will very slow indeed !

      • Mark Volker

It’ll be a even bigger surprise if there is no phone numbers directly to Obama!

It’s obvious to anyone who pays even a small amount of attention that Turkey supports ISIS. Reporters jailed for Treason because they reported Arms Shipments. Millions of barrels of oil driven into Turkey by ISIS to oil companies owned by Erdogan’s family. ISIS soldiers being treated in Turkish Hospitals.

Somehow MSM just doesn’t notice. The very definition of being obtuse!

The fundamentalism regime of the Turkey are extremist Sonies ,following same path as Ottoman imperial targeting Invasion of the Region using the Cover of the NATO to organize their forces trough to the region without any collision .This allowed Turkey to move under the Radar in to the Europe , Seem they had agreement with west by using Saudi Arabia Financial support to create a pipe line Gas and oil from region to the Europe ,which was good deal for NATO (Middle man between middle east and europe). The plan was to Military action by US and NATO invite the Iraq and Syria by total destruction of the Area and brought new regime influenced by the NATO to go under any deal in lower cost .The NATO allies Saudi Arabia and Turkey as muslim Allies will do the rest of the diplomatic and politic action to secure the Awful deal to the NATO countries ,which was win win situation for european.Turkey and Saudi Arabia as they see opportunity and struggle of the europe for the energy (fossil fuel) they claim the region as the Islamic territory and time for extract the Islam Imperial or same old Ottoman Imperial plan to invasion of the Holly land and Europe.Starting massacre of the christians and organize the activist military in the same countries in the region that they had root during Ottoman imperial in the first and second war.Parallel the map of ottoman imperial with recent Activities of what they call ISIS ,you will see the movement are exactly in the same countries (north Africa till Spain ,middle east and sub tetanic of Arab peninsula)They just need the support of the Iran to make their plan work as Iran show opposite opposition against ISIS and Turkey they almost lose the plan ,by involving the Russia they start to be visible and almost all the dark plan or game they were play in region leak to the world From beginning of ISIS and entry of the fighters from Turkey was clear that Turkey has do some thing with theses genocides and terror ,NATO first start to use the ISIS by help of Turkey to take the situation in hand and the eliminate the ISIS in the game ,which they change the strategy and turn to attach the europe and even US in thread terrors and claim the region in a wast military action using support of the Turkey under cover and financial of the Saudi Arabia.Three nation of the Russia ,Iran and Kurd military break trough to the plan by fighting the ISIS and NATO as see they can not convince the world change the plan to pull back and leave the region in a civil war mode and using the propaganda strategy to :1- still keep the Turkey as Allie for making coalition with Russia.2- keeping the Saudi Arabia allie as financial found .3- invite the Montenegro and serbia and ukraine to make preparation for any thread from the Russia ..Now that NATO see the Thread from Russia ,China and Islamic extremist are real and their invasion plan is fail apart, have no option except defend strategy or pull back and attach again .Taking the world attention to the ISIS was a mask to cover the NATO invasion plan against the Russia and middle east.In fact Europe use the US as Arm force to access the Energy source that they need it badly and they will do any thing to survive the energy pressure. The Turkey role as double spy or two face country now is appear as loser that will lose NATO support ,Russia friend ship and Islamic country support ,they take step larger than they should ,they cross the line relation with neighboring countries ,they turn back on Iran and Russia ,now they plan to back to relation ship with Israel to have way to keep diplomatic relation with US which they fall in same trap they made for others .They should of know from beginning that NATO or US will not give the damn to the Turkey or Arabs as a trusty allie and all they need was oil and passage for Navy forces trough to the strategic channels of the Istanbul and Red sea to pressurize the Russia most danger enemy they face to make them or NATO member or invade the Russia ,After that they would have surrendered the china from sea and from land and last imperial will fall ,then World new order plan of illuminatus will start .China and Russia by keeping the friend ship secure the premium and support their allies and trash the plan by getting back on the world power in economy ,military and financial forces ,which table turned and NATO start to pressure the US to take the pipe line from Mexico and Alaska oil trough to the Canada (colonial of the british). So at the sudden all the ISIS and extremist are disappear ,which mean they were made and design by the NATO to they have reason to attack as they re thread ,every thing back to the normal .US by stopping the pipe line trough to the US teach the european Allie a listen ,that they are nothing without the US .Mow turkey is face many international charges :1- support the Terrorism 2- stealing the Iraq ans syria national treasures ,oil, history 3- trespassing and looting the international boarder.3-plan to invade the region .4- unsafe the international and military fly zones, 5-Organize and plan the suicide bombing and sabotage in the Europe and US .6- Sabotage and influence on the International transportation roads between the Asia and Europe .7- Influence the gas line from Russia to the europe and thread to shut down .8- Plan to colonize the region and claim the Islamic caliph as Islamic center of the Islamic world .9-Genocide of christians and closing the boarder during flee of the refugees .10- attack and down the Russian plan without any warning .11- Organize the plan to shoot down the passenger plan of Russia in Arab peninsula.12- Military invasion in the North Iraq and killing the Kurd militants that are fighting ISIS .With all these charges we do not see any further future for Turkey government and Islamic party of the fundamentalist and Soni opposition in the region .

It has been proven Obama had knowledge of the downed Russian plane… Obama needs to be drug out of OUR house and lynche d! And his entire administration!

    • Seahawks530

      oops

    • IMO Turkey should be heavily fined by NATO and placed on probation. ISIS has been named an enemy of NATO and thus they are in violation of their treaty. It has been painfully proven time and time again their president is aiding and abetting ISIS and providing aid and comfort to the enemy. This is not a minor infraction and it has been covertly doing this since ISIS took power.

    • theraini1

I don’t believe that for a minute.Turkey is secular, and those who are Muslim there are Sufi.. not Shiite, or Suni. Sufi are so peaceful that other Muslims do not even consider them Muslims. My friends in Turkey consider Native American Spirituality their faith.. Our media is so so messed up.

      • This may be true of the general population but Tayyip Erdogan is a devout Suni and a sworn enemy of the Kurds and Assad.

      • Sinamit

You might hv to check if you’r living in parallel dimension….

      • Shawn Colemerg

Turks also say Native Americans are Turks. Turks are lying POS.

    • Whytruthhurts

Well, compare to the Western intelligent agencies which under the name of covert operations have connections with almost all the terror groups or groups that resist occupation and oppression in the world and also they are the ones crate all these groups and sometime fund them as well and it is a know secret, but when Turkey which is surrounded by enemies on one side and the Kurd separatists on the other side which is supported by the Americans, the Turkes establish relations with these groups in Turkey’s interest the Zionist media and Right Wing media go crazy.

    • Ataikiddeh

I hate to say this, but perhaps there really needs to be more terrorist activities in capital cities such as Paris, London & New York – ISIL needs to go knocking on some doors in Manhattan – because it’s then and only then these hypocritical cross eyed western powers will agree with the rest of the sane world that the current global jihadist movement has gone on for too long and the world deserves some PEACE at any cost!!!!!!

      • CCWAD

the western powers are the true creators of “current global jihadist movement”. and “hypocritical cross eyed western powers” always prefers these radicals to be there, so that they can profit from it.

      • Sinamit

The Americons are actually trying to prove that they are unaware of this…

    • Paulo Romero

As you sew , so shall you reap. One day soon as Isis is squeezed out of Syria and Iraq , they will ferment rebellion in Turkey itself. Erdogan will try to pin all of it on the Kurds and all out civil war will ensue in Turkey. Just as Syria was destroyed by Erdogan’s meddling so will Turkey. The Turkish people must unite and rid themselves of this evil man before it’s too late. Come on Turks vote Erdogan out and get rid of the Isis monsters using Turkey as a base!

      • theraini1

Turkey was created by President Wilson as a secular state post WW1. My friends there can’t stand Erdogan, but he must realize that staying secular is why Turkey’s middle class income has tripled since 2000. It is an amazing country. It is in no way what US citizens think it is. The people who are Muslim there are mainly Sufi, not Shiite, and not Suni. Sufi follow the teachings of a Gandhi like man named Rumi. They are peaceful gentle people. My friends there consider Native American Spirituality their faith.

        • Pat Mason

theraini1——What they did to the Armenians didn’t seem so peaceful and gentle.

    • Sergio

It Turks managed to deny for hundred years the Armenians, Assyrian, and Greek genocide, don’t even try to proof that they are supporting ISIS! Turks are the worst among Muslim people! Big liars!!! But, the truth is out, and will be humiliated soon!

no one is talking about the Sufis or the Turkish people; it’s about the leaders, the politicians, the military, the usual suspects that are in every country.

        • Rahel K

You keep repeating this falsity about Turkey’s sufis and keep claiming that “Turks are not Sunnis”. It only shows that you know nothing about Turkey. Yes there is a peaceful, secular and moderate Islam in Turkey. Rumi/Sufism is indeed the smiling face of Islam. But only the Alevi MINORITY practices it! It is a persecuted MINORITY by the crushing majority of Sunnis in Turkey. So many times in modern history of the republic, scores of Alevis have been attacked, torched, and murdered. They are forced to adopt sunni customs and prayers, their children are taught Sunni Islam in schools against their will, and against rulings by European Human Rights Court. Alevi prayer places (Cemevi) are not recognized as such by the state. They are humiliated and discriminated against, by the Sunnis. Erdogan has been openly hostile to these people in his campaign speeches.
So many Alevi are murdered, and their villages wiped out by jihadis in Syria, all supported by Turkey. One cannot be considered a real Turk, unless one is a Sunni Muslim. Erdogan’s Turkey is not only Sunni, but has become radical Sunni! They aspire to build a Sunnistan in Iraq and Syria that they can control – as a first step to re-building (the Sunni) Ottoman rule in Middle-East, the Balkans, north Africa and Cauasia. Ambitious dreams! All this is to inform you! Being born and raised in Turkey I know what I am talking about!

Ataturk (father of modern day Turkey) is rolling over in his grave at the betrayal of Erdogan. Erdogan has long tried to turn Turkey into a Muslim country. His ultimate goal is to become a ” new” Sultan of the Middle East and it’s Islamic caliphate.

        • Hakan Hkan

Turkish people are %99 Muslim. Erdogan isn’t a member of strong family or boss. He won every election. If he would away without election, he would become a big hero in the world.

Erdogan is a corrupt politician who has used his office and it’s power to silence opposition. Stack the judiciary with his hand picked puppets willing to do his bidding for a share of the graft.

The nation is a secular one with a large Muslim population. He will never become a world hero. He is a traitor to his allies.

There is a serious thinking that the Mid East has become what it is because the west meddled in the internal mechanisms and transformation of the countries there; importing their values and mindset and imposing them on the regimes there. This thwarted the logical political transformation of the Mid-East. And the west went further to choose and pick which regime to change and which to leave intact, leading to anarchy and chaos which groups like ISIS now exploit. Like the US democracy evolved over time, the Mid east would also evolve its own system in a more organic, organized and sustainable way. Following the unwritten law that whoever breaks must repair, the west broke the Mid East and must now repair it. But that will require a cool head and long term strategists with immense diplomatic acumen, not the saber rattling we hear in some US quarters. That is where I find President Obama tick.

      Turkish
Terrorist strike interrupts Russian anti-terror Operation

      NATO attacks
Russia! What was going through the minds of the Turkish military hierarchy when
they gave the order to destroy the target they say was flying over their
airspace is difficult to fathom, but then what to expect from a country which
perpetrated the Armenian Genocide then denied it? Was the objective to halt the
anti-terrorist operation? Turkey is good for one thing, as we saw when their
boat to Gaza was boarded by Israeli commanders: turning tail and running, like
a collection of yellow-bellied, sniveling, sh*tfaced cowards. And today, hiding
behind the skirts of NATO, Turkey states it has shot down a Russian aircraft
performing an anti-terrorist operation against Islamic State. Well, well,
surprise, surprise! Turkey’s deplorable record Many have been the accusations
that Turkey, a NATO member, has not done enough to counter Islamic State, many
have been the accusations that Turkey has been cooperating with Islamic State
by not cutting off its supply lines. So putting two and two together, and given
Turkey’s own record in the Armenian Genocide, which it denies of course, we see
that the terrorist entity is Turkey and the North Atlantic Terrorist
Organization it belongs to and we see that the real aim is to thwart Russia’s
anti-terrorist campaign in Syria. Because Islamic State, let us be honest, is
not exactly what it seems, now is it? Who has been financing it, if not Western
interests and assets and their darlings in the Fascist monarchies in the Middle
East, you know, those disgusting sand castles ruled over by tyrannical despots
with deplorable human rights records, around whose feet Western leaders crawl,
cooing. And let the West provide these answers, crystal clear answers. Let us
name and shame all those who have been financing Islamic State, all those who
have been arming Islamic State, all those who have been aiding and abetting
Islamic State, all those who have stood back and watched as Islamic State
formed and grew into the monster it is today. Of course, NATO cares more about
Paris than about a Russian passenger airliner, after all, the incident only
caused double the number of victims and just a few weeks on, the story has
zapped off the radar. You can almost hear the NATO hierarchy chortling and
saying “it was their own fault”. So once again, what to expect from a
member state of an organization which lied through its teeth when the Soviet
Union dissolved voluntarily, stating if the Warsaw Pact was dismantled, the
NATO would not encroach eastwards? What to expect from a barefaced liar? They
lied about Poland, they lied about the Czech Republic, they lied about Hungary,
they lied about Romania, they lied about Estonia, they lied about Latvia, they
lied about Lithuania, they lied about Bulgaria, they lied about Slovakia, they
lied about Slovenia, they lied about Albania, they lied about Croatia. As the
investigations proceed, Turkey claims the Russian aircraft downed was flying
over Turkish airspace, while the Russian Defense Ministry states it was flying
over Syria – it was flying over Syria for the entire operation and was
operating legally. Until proven otherwise, and there is more reason to believe
the Russian version than the one from a country which murdered one and a half
million Armenians and then callously states that it did not happen, what anyway
was the Turkish military thinking about when it downed a military aircraft
carrying out an anti-terrorist operation? Was the objective to halt the
operation and protect the terrorists? Once again, what to expect from Turkey, a
pariah state in the entire international community? As for NATO, is anyone
seriously surprised? A terrorist is a terrorist. Putin will save Christianity
from Radical Muslim and Muslim like cockroach Barack Obama – Muslim by
father. Obama father is Sunni Muslim and in Muslim world you are what your
father is. Obama is Sunni Muslim hi support Sunnis against Shia Muslim. Obama
is 100% Muslim. US support in any way including weapons most disgusting
dictator regime in the world like Saudi + other dictators and monarchs they rule
like despot in the middle edges Muslim can build Jamie every wear in the
Christian world but to Christian is forbidden to build even one in Arabia and
Saudi, Saudi support terrorist like ISIS. And western propaganda machine say
      nothing about that.

      Most likely
USA CIA is behind that dawning they give Turkish Erdogan green light and
information about Russian plain position and direction!

      • Whytruthhurts

It was not a genocide because those people died when they were exposed to natural elements like cold and hunger and thirst. The truth is that genocide is happening under the very knows of the world which is committed by the Americans, Israelis and NATO. So you don’t want to hurt the feeling of the Zionist for fear of reprisal from the Zionist in America.

I just love the tact of President Obama in this whole Mid East chaos; treading carefully, gently but with results while keeping the American economy recovering. People forget that waging a war requires an economic chest. If economy remained at its 2008 levels, then there would be no influence to talk of. And the Iran deal has just been a phenomenal success, whatever the opponents say. Today, not only has Ramadi fallen, but Iran handed over tons of enriched Uranium to Russia, en-route the IAEA. The Dems are just smart here we have to admit.

Mint Press is an Iranian front organization, run by an American-Iranian, pushing Russian/Iranian propaganda viewpoints. It’s worth reading to find out what’s important at the moment to the Russians and/or the ayatolllah’s.

Obviously, right now it’s the survival of Assad and his regime. As to why the Russians and Iranians want Mr. Assad and his regime to survive, obviously Syria figures in a longer-term game plan envisioned by Putin and Iran to advance their agenda in the Middle East and the world generally. Mint Press is a tiny part of their program. How autonomous it is in service to this program is probably of interest to the FBI.

To say that this is NATO support is far fetched. It is Turkish support. Do you think France supports ISIS? This shows a real lack of understanding or lazy thinking. Nations often pursue policies independent from that of their alliances. I refer you to the Suez Crisis of 1956 where Britain, France, and Israel all acted against the desires of the US and sprung it on the US in a surprise.

      • john

Its not far-fetched, only in your head it is. Typical American brushing his own governments atrocities under the rug “it can’t be us!” <—–blind patriotism is what George Washington warned about.

        • thatpageguy

Tell us why it is in America’s interest to support ISIS. Given that Obama is refusing to get very involved in either Syria or Iraq, the old “US wanting to keep war going” meme doesn’t fit. I opposed the US Iraq War in 2003, I have opposed almost all US actions in the region (Bush, Cheney, et al should be tried for war crimes) and I think the US should stay out of Syria and should withdraw from the Middle East. My opinion is based on an appraisal of foreign policy from a realistic perspective. By realistic, I mean according to the theories of Hans Morgenthau.

          • john

Obama is refusing to get involved? Typical blind American. The US has been involved, where have you been? Airstrikes, arming & training terrorists? That’s not involvement? America is the worlds biggest warmonger – you people are blinded by it

            • thatpageguy

I wrote not very involved. Big difference between that and not involved. I guess you are so blinded that you can’t read straight.

          • john

Ask your warmongering politicians that. The US IS involved you idiot yet you claim Obama is refusing? Look up the airstrikes & look up how a couple of years ago they announced “we wont get involved”<—-the US always does that, at 1st claims to be neutral then injects herself when convenient. Warmongering US empire

    • Plain Truth

Its sad how the perception of the West with NATO countries (Turkey and Canada) fight ISIS to calm public outcry and yet support it in secret. Obama knows this and he is the catalyst because its about Russia supporting Assad and Obama supporting Turkey. The US will alway support Turkey as long as the Airbases are in that region. This is why the US has never ever acknowledged Armenian Genocide. This is all a game to these governments at the expense of innocent people just dying every second. Its time for this Muslim in the White House to be ousted but the dumb Liberals in the US don’t dare confront him as it will destroy their party. One thing is always certain “todays enemy is your friend tomorrow” and “The enemy of my enemy is my friend”. Bottom line its a chess match between Russian/Syria vs. US/Turkey and ISIS are rogue fighters. Who makes out in the end. IRAN.. ISIS is a tool to capture half of Syria to put a Qatar-Turkey pipeline. If Turkey or anyone invaded directly, it would not be politically right. If ISIS does it, then we demonize it, when US or Turkey goes in to rescue people from ISIS, you will all cheer. Then a pipeline will be built in “Democratic Syria” and it will end Russian monopoly in Europe. Then NATO will standup to Russia in Ukraine. Better if ISIS takes down the Shia government in Iraq too. This is why US does not yet put boots on the ground. This is why Baghdadi with his speeches makes sure you hate ISIS.

    • Reza Tavakolian

This is an open secret. By now everyone knows that Turkey and ISIL and other terrorists are in bed and Turkey with western / Zionists support have Qatari financial backing. There is also the defence system, given to it, along the border to Syria. The downing of the Jet , it was intended, as per orders. And last, that Russia is being involved to fight in Syria, was it another order, Turkey received by the invisible man that it wants to remain friendly.

I think it’s time to remove Turkey from NATO!! They are NOT an ally the US…. and as far as Putin punishing Turkey for shooting down their fighter, let them have at it!

      • John Kerr

Putin cannot punish Turkey. Stopping tomato import does not cut it. Putin is trying to prevent a Qatar-Turkey gas pipeline to protect Russian gas monopoly in Europe.

Shoot Turkey out of NATO and support the whole Free-Kurdistan. This will be our revenge over the unrepentant genocide of Armenian and Assyrian Christians, not the way the Germans repent of the Jewish holocaust. This would be nothing new. It has been known and most of NATO has accepted such. This is all for the run of the ‘war machine’…meaning dollars for corporations, representatives and body bags for the citizens. Decades of murder has been sanctioned by all of these governments.
As for the US…what has actually been accomplished since the so-called ‘strike on US soil’? Trillions of dollars, continued corruption, tens of thousands of lives and millions of individuals throughout the Middle East displaced. Terrorism is ‘fear’…you can’t fight and win against such…not with almost every government supporting such fear!

Most folks have no clue what you are saying, but you’re right. This whole Syrian debacle is about gaining control of the Syrian banking system, just like it was in Iraq and Libya. The Rothchilds want the banks of Syria and Iran, and of course Russia, to complete their goal of world domination. That’s the end game here.

    • redape

I’m puzzled? How does a Iranian-supported militia know that a number is linked to Turkish intelligence? Is he also communicating with Turkish intelligence? The same individuals? How loyal is that to the Iraqis and Iranians? It’s not very likely that the Hashd al-Shaabi, “a loyalist volunteer force” would have the capability of determining this. So what “intelligence groups” has he passed the phone on to?

This announcement needs confirmation. The announcement is coming from a Shiite militia affiliated with Iran. It could be accurate, it could be bogus, or it could merely mean that lower level officers are easily bribed. The use of the term “Turkey” suggests this goes all the way to the top. If true then they need to provide the phone and the contact information to be analyzed. But merely showing some contact with lower level officers for $$$ isn’t something that would be too foreign to those in the Iraqi military.

I have long said Turkey is Not our friend, should not be in NATO, nor should we. Something is very wrong when all these countries, including the U.S., gives aid & support to ISIS and the other butchers they like to call “moderates.”
Russia is the only righteous player in this whole mess. The only nation officially asked to lend assistance in Syria.
There is some kind of evil behind the mania to depose Assad all of a sudden. Putin has the right idea- kill them all.

      • Charlie

        I will agree with you.

      • John Kerr

Turkey will be our best friend if Qatar-Turkey pipeline is built in “Democratic Syria” to end Russian gas monopoly in Europe. Then NATO will move to end Russian aggression in Ukraine.

        • zipper

WE(USA) could solve the EU’s thirst for natural gas. LNG could be transported by ship to Europe. The U.S. has a huge supply, and it’s cheap. Of course, transportation costs could up the price, but isn’t that better than extortionist demands from Russia?

          • John Kerr

LNG is too expensive to compete with Russian gas. That is why Qatar wants the pipeline.

            • zipper

Yes, that’s true…for now. I did mention the cost factor. However, I also mentioned the political angle. Russia could shut-off the “tap” at anytime, or dramatically raise prices at its whim over what it views as an “uncooperative attitude.” My view is supported by the fact that various European countries are looking at importing U.S. gas. A large LNG company based in Texas(Cheniere), is building a huge plant in Louisiana just for this purpose.
Regarding Qatar: With what’s been going down in the ME over the last decade, with no end in sight, who in their right mind would make a large capital investment there?

        • zipper

Whose gas? Whose pipeline? Swapping muslim states supplying infidels for Russia’s political leveraging; some solution! They should import U.S. LNG.

      • YooperInVegas

It’s all about the Rothchilds gaining control of the Syrian banking system. That’s why ISIL was created, that’s why the USA agitated for the ‘Arab Spring’, which caused the fall of Khadafy in Libya, allowing the Rothchilds takeover of the Libyan banking system. Syria is next, then Iran, then of course the prime target, Russia. All of this other crap is a sideshow to keep us distracted and arguing with each other while the dominoes keep falling. Putin knows this of course, which is why he supports Assad. The USA has been in the Rothchilds fold ever since the creation of the Federal Reserve System, which they control.

        • zipper

So, your take is that it is all a planned show by the NWO Globalists?

      • YooperInVegas

Only a handful of world banks aren’t controlled by the Rothchilds. Syria, Iran and Russia are 3 of them. That’s why they are vilified as our boogymen by the lamestream media propaganda apparatus. Syria has been the major target after the job was completed in Libya. When/if Syria falls, Iran will be next up.

I’m sure most people are wondering why the United States has yet to condemn Turkey. It looks like Putin is right, and the U.S. looks really bad by continuing to support Turkey as a NATO member. No doubt Erdogan knows exactly what is going on and is undoubtedly 100% in for supporting ISIS. Also, where is the United Nations? Has there been one resolution condemning Turkey. Of course, not. Erdogan and all involved with supporting ISIS should be immediately subject to arrest and put on trial as war criminals. They should be treated no better than members of ISIS. The United States is becoming more and more corrupt, and I believe it might be too late to stop the U.S.’s downfall and ultimate judgement by God.

“Killed ISIS Commander’s Cell Phone Shows Direct Ties To Turkish Intelligence

Former US Department of State senior adviser David Phillips said, “Turkey’s role has not been ambiguous — it has overtly supported the ISIL. It has provided logistical support, money, weapons, transport and healthcare to wounded warriors.”
If true, then Turkey is at War with Syria and Iraq , as ISIL is enemy of both Syria and Iraq ; therefore, Turkey should be immediately expelled from NATO in that event ! Dec 28, 2015 at 4:23 pm.

      • John Kerr

Turkey is our best ally and everything is going according to the plan.

    • Pat Mason

Obama has always sung the praises of Erdogan and Turkey , saying they are such a good ally. Now we know he’s been lying to us about Turkey. In reality Obama’s support of Turkey has been support of ISIS, no wonder he hasn’t wanted to destroy them. He’s in cahoots with them. It took the Russians to expose the Muslim connection and to show the so called “moderate” Muslims of Turkey are anything but.

      • This is exactly how Obama also supported Morsi in Egypt by defending the “Democratic process” as though that somehow supercedes doing what’s right.

        Obozo is a blowhard.

      • zipper

Obama lying & deceiving? Oh, no, no, no….it just can’t be!

      • Guest

But Obama’s efforts to drop a couple bombs on empty warehouses late at night was having such a powerful effect. After a mere year, ISIS was “contained” … right before the 7 pronged coordinated Paris attacks.

      • John Kerr

Turkey is a great ally and everything is going according to the agreed plan. Watch Putin’s face when Qatar-Turkey pipeline is built on ex-ISIS land.

    • Adrian Cerny

It is not just Turkey that has been backing these ‘so-called’ Terrorists in that part of the world.
This is very Funny as it was obama and his
CIA that Created, funded, trained and armed the IS, years ago, to help fight
Assad of Syria. The IS is a Surrogate US Military force.
      IS as CIA Child

Defense Intelligence Agency: “Establish a Salafist Principality
in Syria”, Facilitate Rise of Islamic State “In Order to Isolate the Syrian
      Regime”
      Declassified DIA document
While initial mainstream media reporting is focused on the White House’s
handling of the Benghazi consulate attack, a much “bigger picture” admission
and confirmation is contained in one of the Defense Intelligence Agency
documents circulated in 2012: that an ‘Islamic State’ is desired in Eastern
Syria to effect the West’s policies in the region.

Astoundingly, the newly declassified report states that for

“THE WEST, GULF COUNTRIES, AND TURKEY [WHICH] SUPPORT THE [SYRIAN] OPPOSITION…
THERE IS THE POSSIBILITY OF ESTABLISHING A DECLARED OR UNDECLARED SALAFIST
PRINCIPALITY IN EASTERN SYRIA (HASAKA AND DER ZOR), AND THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT
THE SUPPORTING POWERS TO THE OPPOSITION WANT, IN ORDER TO ISOLATE THE SYRIAN
      REGIME…”.

The DIA report, formerly classified “SECRET//NOFORN” and dated August 12, 2012,
was circulated widely among various government agencies, including CENTCOM, the
CIA, FBI, DHS, NGA, State Dept., and many others.

      • Rose

Syrian rebels is CIA child, just like Libyan rebels. ISIS was from Mossad and Saudi Arabia’s operation but they break away and be on their own. ISIS leaders realize they can make more money by stealing oil and sell it cheap with the help of Turkey.

    • Pat Mason

Now we know that Turkey and Erdogan have been partners with ISIS in the murder of thousands of innocents in the middle east. And , yet , our government tells us Turkey is a country of ” moderate ” Muslims. Now , we know the truth that Turkey shares the values of those Muslims that cut off heads of non-Muslims. This tells you all you need to know about how moderate , “moderate” Muslims are.

      • Too bad you were making a ton of sense up until the last sentence which is full of stupid.

They are all of one body.

      • jamesmyers

First of all, we have an Idiot for a President and that includes his Demo-degenerate, Scumbag Party. Secondly, everyone knows the American Media supports Obozo and his ill-advised agenda.

      • zipper

Russia has supported Syria for decades; nothing sudden here. It might be that this is somehow a (stupid)move to hit at Russia for their actions in Crimea and Ukraine. If this is so, there are a whole bunch of policy makers and advisors that need to be fired.

Putin is trying to prevent Qatar-Turkey gas pipeline to protect Russian gas monopoly in Europe. Assad refused this pipeline so he has to go now.

        • Fact checker

John, are you in the media or in government? You talk like you are. The entire story is about a connection discovered between ISIS and the Turkish government. You ignore the entire article and talk about something in the distance. “Keep moving, there is nothing to see here. Oh, look over there!”

          • John Kerr

When we want a gas pipeline over Syria to end Russian gas monopoly in Europe, I can assure you we don’t send our own soldiers to invade. It looks better if someone else does the job for us. Get the big picture?

            • Fact checker

John, your big picture suggests that Hillary and Obama created ISIS.

    • Daniel

      Proof Turkey is Daesh.

This is no surprise- the Turks are snakes in the grass. What surprises me is that there were no connections to the Saudis or sheik Obama….or maybe they were told to keep their mouths shut about that.

      • jamesmyers

I would imagine our tax dollars paid by Obozo to the Turks was convincing enough to keep their mouths shut.

    • Charles Lloyd

No major surprises here that Erdogan is involved in Jihadist world wide. After all he is Obama’s most trusted counterpart and confidant.

      • Erdogan’s own SON is one of ISIS’ biggest backers. I don’t understand how this stuff passes unnoticed…

      of world’s turmoil.

      • Sini Rao

The Turks are bombing our Kurdish allies and the Russians are bombing our FSA allies and we give weapons to the Iraq central government made up of Shi’as and controlled by terrorist Iran — Let’s see, That’s Terrorists and Bad Guys 3 — US and Allies 0. Welcome to Obamaworld.

      • equestrian1

Turkey is bombing PKK, a Kurdish terrorist organization recognized as such by USA, EU and many other civilized countries. If those terroristes are your Kurdish allies than you are supporting terrorism. I would be careful using the word “us”!

        • rw93003

The PKK isn’t on many, if any, individual European countries’ terrorist lists. It is on the EU list because of the EU has close ties to NATO and the old secular Turkey of Mustafa Ataturk was a valued member of NATO. The PKK was put on the US list when it was a Moscow backed Marxist group. The PKK today has renounced Marxism and the Turkey of today is led by Muslim Brotherhood sympathizer and associate Erdogan — The Muslim Brotherhood is the root of al-Qaeda and ISIS. There has been a complete role reversal between Turkey and the PKK in the minds of many including most Americans who want the PKK removed from the list, as they should be. Turkey is no longer a trusted ally in the minds of most Americans but the Kurds–including the PKK are.

          • equestrian1

You can only talk about your own mind but not on behalf of most Americans! PKK is a terrorist organization and they are responsible of murdering tousands of innocent civilians including babies and children. They are no different than Al-qaeda or Taliban. PKK’s main income is from drug smuggling, smuggling of different goods, money laundering,
prostitution and many other criminal activities. If you are defending PKK than
you should defend Hamas and Al-Qaeda too! Are you telling me that most Americans are so ignorant to support a terrorist organization? Most Americans would not even know who the Kurds or PKK are with the exception of some Kurds in USA who pretend to be Americans and write comments using American user names!

          • John Kerr

PKK is a tool Russia, Iran, Iraq, Syria try to use to cut Turkey from Middle energy sources. PKK is supposed to capture part of Turkey to serve as a zone to turn gas on and off against Turkey and Europe. Assad refused Qatar-Turkey pipeline. This is what the war is about. If pipeline is built, Russian energy hegemony over Europe will end.

        • Joe Giron

turkey is a terrorist rogue state.

          • equestrian1

            According who?

      • John Kerr

You will see the “Kurdish allies” if they succeed in sealing Turkey-Syria border to block Qatar-Turkey pipeline. This pipeline, if built, will end Russian gas monopoly in Europe. Today Europe is dependent on Russian gas. Kurdish unchecked success means NATO cannot standup to Russia in Ukraine and elsewhere when Europe is energy dependent on Russia.

    • BobDeNasty

The World should support the Kurds and any outfit that wants to destroy ISIS. The world should also put in sanctions against any country found supporting ISIS – this includes Turkey, Saudi, Qatar, etc…

      • jamesmyers

Not as long as their are Demo-degenerates calling the shots!

    • Kenneth Alex Randolf

The “source” for this information is: Hashd al-Shaabi, a loyalist (anti ISIS & pro Syria) volunteer force. Jabbar al-Ma’mouri, a leader within the force made the announcement. He said, “The mobile phone also contains other important information which cannot be disclosed now, and it has been delivered to the specialized security groups for further scrutiny.” That organization (Hashd al-Shaabi) is a paramilitary group formed by the Iraqi Interior Ministry and of course that is undoubtedly to be trusted for accuracy and truth.

      • Joe Giron

so you can trust the terrorist rogue government of isis-daesh turkey.

        • Kenneth Alex Randolf

No–my point is that no one is to be trusted unless thoroughly vetted if possible (which in most cases is not). Winston Churchill once said that “the first casualty in War is the truth”. Never has that admonition been more true than now. We live in an era rife with intelligence services galore, all of whom are busily falling all over themselves & each other in the race to spread “information” and disinformation.Often times their actions are in conflict with their own elected government officials or the other intelligence agencies within the same government. Trust? Who can trust anything? Remember it was our CIA who in 2002-3 claimed, on the basis of its Iraqi “source” (code named “curveball”), that it was a “slam-dunk” that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction. That claim and source was allegedly “trusted” by (1) President G W Bush; (2) Secretary of State Powell; and (3) 71 members of the U.S. Senate who voted for the authorization to go to War.

Nuclear armed and politically unstable Pakistan is the MECCA of all terrorists. Ever since it’s creation in 1947, Pak has been ruled by military generals / dictators and that is also the current path as well. Pakistan is the world’ s largest producer of Nuclear bombs – WHY does it need so many nukes? Pak military ISI has boasted in past on international TV that they proudly shelter, recruit, train, arm, fund and dispatch radical Islamic gorilla fighters / terrorists to destroy the ”infidels” all across the world in the name of Mohammad and Alla. TODAY they are sheltering Ayman Al Zawahiri of Al Quida and second in command only to Osama Bin Laden; Mulla Omar is the Taleban commander; Dr AQ Khan who sold blue prints and diagrams of how to build Nuclear bombs to N Korea, Libya and other rogue nations decades ago while knowing fully well that there is non-proliferation treaty that forbids those sales – therefor he is a fugitive wanted by the UN; Daud Ibrahim who planned, funded and orchestrated the bombings on India killing innocent people by the thousands and he continues today …….. there are over 1250 ‘known’ terrorist operatives’ who live like kings protected by the Pakistani gov and military. The main irony is that the US gov gives a whopping $ 1.5 Billion ”aid” yearly which we know is used to fund all terror activities.

Hillary’s Personal Assistant (PA) of over 3 decades is a Pakistani woman named Mrs Huma Abedin Wiener – both husband and wife San Bernardino terrorists were of Pakistani origin. Huma in past has proudly admitted to regularly sending $ as ‘donations’ to the terrorist group Muslim Brotherhood while Hillary continues to call her an ‘’adopted daughter’’. Huma is a proud citizen of ‘’terrorist capital of the world’’ nuclear armed Pakistan doing what only comes naturally – openly supporting terrorists.

Mrs Wiener is the wife of disgraced NY congressman Anthony Wiener (Mr PERVERT), who 5 years ago was forced to resign after he sent photos of his erect penis to a minor girl on the internet – while he was married to Huma. He was caught then he confessed and was humiliated publicly on international TV as he cried, wept buhu profusely and begged for forgiveness. Huma just like Hillary also chose to stand by her loooooooser husband to save her failed marriage.

      • rw93003

Because unless Assad, the Alawite Shi’a, and his regime are out the moderate Sunni’s in the region won’t support a full-on fight against ISIS. Shi’as are only 11% of the Syrian population compared with the Sunni’s who are 70%, yet Iran’s Shia proxy, Assad, lords over them all.

    • Melo D

Every country in that region is out for themselves. They may say in public that they support the alliance to defeat ISIS, but that’s only lip service. None of the countries in that region can be trusted and they all have different agendas. That’s what makes the situation such a mess. To get that region under control we would have to occupy all of it for an unknown amount of time. There is going to be no quick fix for the problem. Americans just need to accept that. You can’t just carpet bomb them into submission, like Ted Cruz says.

motivated to plant such “evidence” as part of a disinformation scheme to divide

You trust the veracity of reports without having a clue about its source and its credibility. Hook–line & sinker–is what some might be tempted to think in their delusional musings. Real Critical Thinker—what is that a joke of some kind?

If you are hearing about this in the news it’s not very good intelligence..

    • Kenneth Alex Randolf

Only the most incompetent intelligence service imaginable would create evidence in a
high targeted individual’s cell phone that establishes a connection between a
NATO member State and ISIS. Putin’s Russian intelligence services however is
motivated to plant such “evidence” as part of a disinformation scheme to divide
the western NATO powers from the only Muslim NATO member state. Accordingly, this
“evidence” should be treated with great circumspection and skepticism.

Misconceptions About Islam – What do you REALLY know?

      Introduction

      Islam is one of the
world’s largest religions yet it is also one of the most misunderstood. For
various reasons – be they political, economic, biased media or fear of the
“other” – mistruths and misconceptions have been spread about Islam.
The key to understanding Islam and Muslims is to resist stereotypes and examine
each situation according to Islamic teachings and authentic sources.

Misconception 1 “Muslims Do Not Share Good and Noble Values with
      non-Muslims”

“The best among you are those who have
the best manners and character.” – Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
Some people allege that Islamic values are somehow incompatible with decent
“Western” values. Such claims could not be further from the truth.
Muslims cherish noble and universal values such as:

      • being honest and just

      • keeping one’s word

      • allowing freedom of religion

      • respecting parents, relatives, neighbors,
      and the elderly

      • being charitable, generous, and looking
      after the poor and needy

      • not lying, cheating, swearing or backbiting
      anyone

Muslims are required to contribute positively
towards society and to always conduct themselves with the highest of morals and
      best of actions.

Misconception 2 “Muslims Worship a New God Called Allah”

Muslims worship the same God worshiped by
Prophets Noah, Abraham, Moses and Jesus. The word “Allah” is simply
the Arabic word for Almighty God, an Arabic word of rich meaning, denoting the
one and only God. Allah is also the same word that Arabic speaking Christians
and Jews use to refer to God. However, although Muslims, Jews and Christians
believe in the same God (the Creator), their concepts regarding Him differ
significantly. For example, Muslims reject the idea of God having any partners
or being part of a ‘trinity’, and ascribe perfection only to God, the Almighty.

      Misconception 3 “Islam Permits Terrorism”

The media generally portrays any Muslim who
fights as a terrorist, regardless of whether they fight justly or unjustly, or
whether they are oppressing others or being oppressed. In war, the targeting of
innocent non-combatants is a despicable act which Islam clearly prohibits. In
fact, Muslims are not allowed to destroy plants and animals unnecessarily, let
alone innocent humans. However, it is important to distinguish between
terrorism and legitimate resistance to occupation, as the two are very
different. The Quran clearly demonstrates the seriousness of killing an
innocent person, and emphasizes the value of human life. “If anyone
murders an innocent person, it will be as if he has murdered the whole of
humanity. And if anyone saves a person it will be as if he has saved the whole
      of humanity.” Quran 5:32

      Misconception 4 “Islam Oppresses Women”

In Islam, men and women are viewed as equals
before God, in terms of both receiving equal reward and accountability for
their actions. The only thing that distinguishes people in the sight of God is
their level of piety. “Verily the most honorable of you in the sight of Allah
is the most God conscious. “Quran 49:13This verse proves that real honor
and status is not attained because a person is rich or poor, black or white,
male or female, but attained through piety and devoutness. Allah, the Creator
of both genders, has assigned different roles and responsibilities for each,
taking into account their differences. Women are given the utmost respect and
honor, such as the right to equal pay, choice of spouse, pursuit of education,
and the right to divorce and inheritance. Unfortunately, there are some Muslim
women who are oppressed and not given their rights. This is not the fault of
Islam. The problem is that in some countries, people follow certain cultural
practices and traditions which have nothing to do with Islam.

Misconception 5 “The Quran is Just another History or Poetry Book”

The Quran is the divine literal word of God
Almighty, revealed to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), through the angel
Gabriel. It is a criterion for the truth, containing guidance for humanity to
live by. The Quran cites lessons from preceding generations and the history of
the Prophets in order that we may learn from their experiences. It further
teaches us about ourselves and our Creator, as well as the purpose of our
existence which is to acknowledge God, worshiping Him alone. God did not create
humans to simply wander aimlessly. The test of one’s faith is in using one’s
intellect, free will and reasoning abilities to contemplate and recognize God’s
signs – one of the greatest signs being The Quran. The Quran contains within it
many miracles, so that we can have no doubt about its authenticity. The best
way to discover what the Quran is actually about, is to read it for yourself.

      Misconception 6 “Hijab is Oppressive”

To observe the hijab, Muslim women are
required to modestly cover their body with clothes that do not reveal their
figure in front of non-closely related males. However, hijab is not just about
outer appearances; it is also about noble speech, modesty, and dignified
conduct. Although there are many benefits of the hijab, the key reason Muslim
women observe hijab is because it is a command from Allah (God), and He knows
what is best for His creation. The hijab empowers a woman by emphasizing her
inner spiritual beauty, rather than her superficial appearance. It gives women
the freedom to be active members of society, while maintaining their modesty.
The hijab does not symbolize suppression, oppression or silence. Rather, it is
a guard against degrading remarks, unwanted advances and unfair discrimination.
So the next time you see a Muslim woman, know that she covers her physical
appearance, not her mind or intellect.

Misconception 7 “All Muslims are Arabs”

Only about 20% of Muslims in the world are
Arabs, meaning that up to about 80% of Muslims are non-Arabs. For example,
there are more Indian and Indonesian Muslims than Arab Muslims. Islam teaches
that an individual is not superior to another because of race or color, and is
strictly against any form of racism. Islam has a universal message for all of
mankind – that is, that everyone can gain peace and success only by
acknowledging and worshipping the One True God.

      Misconception 8 “Jihad is Terrorism”

The essence of Jihad is to struggle and
sacrifice for one’s religion in a manner which is pleasing to God. Linguistically,
it means to “struggle” and can refer to one’s striving to do good
deeds, give charity, or to join an Islamic military action. The most commonly
known form is the military Jihad which is permitted in order to preserve the
well-being of society, to prevent oppression from spreading, and to promote
justice. This can be either defensive or offensive, depending on the
      circumstance.

Misconception 9 “Muslims Worship Muhammad or the Moon God”

Yet another misconception is that Muslims
worship Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). This is entirely untrue, and is
easily refuted by the actual saying of the Prophet (peace be upon him):
“Do not over-praise me as the Christians over-praised Jesus, the son of
Mary. I am His slave, so refer to me as ‘God’s slave and Messenger.’ “Islam
teaches Muslims to respect all of God’s Prophets and Messengers but respecting
and loving them does not mean worshiping them. A related claim is that Muslims
worship the “moon God” which is also totally incorrect. Worshiping
the moon, or anything other than Allah, is strictly prohibited in Islam: “Do
not prostrate to the sun or to the moon, but prostrate to Allah Who created them, if
you really worship Him.” Quran 41:37Islam acknowledges the complete
perfection, greatness and uniqueness of God with absolutely no compromises. He
is the Most Just and the Most Merciful. Worshiping Him alone is the most
important belief in Islam, as mentioned in the Quran in numerous places.

Misconception 10 “Islam Permits Forced Marriages”

      Arranged marriages are cultural practices
which are predominant in certain countries throughout the world. Although not
restricted to Muslims, forced marriages have become incorrectly associated with
Islam. In Islam, both males and females have the right to choose or reject
their potential spouse, and a marriage is considered null and void if a woman’s
genuine approval is not granted prior to the marriage.

Misconception 11 “Islam Forces People to Become Muslim”

God says, “Let there be no compulsion in
religion. Truth has been made clear from error. “Quran 2:256 Although it
is a duty on Muslims to convey and share the beautiful message of Islam to
others, no one can be compelled to accept Islam. To accept Islam, a person must
sincerely and voluntarily believe and obey God, so, by definition, no one can
(or should) be forced to accept Islam. Consider the following:

      • Indonesia has the largest Muslim population
yet no battles were fought to bring Islam there.

      • There are around 14 million Arab Coptic
Christians that have been living in the heart of Arabia for generations.

      • Islam is one of the fastest growing
religions in the western world today.

      • Although fighting oppression and promoting
justice are valid reasons for waging jihad, forcing people to accept Islam is
      not one of them.

      • Muslims ruled Spain for around 800 years yet
      never coerced people to convert.

      Conclusion

Learning about Islam from unqualified sources without verification is dangerous and leads to misunderstandings. Do not be misled into accepting misconceptions and false information about Islam, the
belief shared by more than a quarter of mankind.

Does not the guidance for all humanity, the message of Islam, deserve to be carefully pondered over and reflected on?

Interesting. Your statements (Mostly wrong btw) depict you as religions man against all religions but a Christian religion, a hardcore Christian religion…I am forever grateful that you know God’s 1st, too sad that you can even ponder on the 2nd commandment.-js

          • ExMech

            “(Mostly wrong btw) depict”

            – Really? Wrong, eh? So you’re Jizyah doesn’t exist? Or is it that you muslims have never extorted it? What is “wrong” about the statement?

‘too sad that you can even ponder on the 2nd commandment.-js”

            – oh… a muslim whining about Mosaic Commandments, eh? It is sad you never heard of the 8th Commandment.

      • dndgaddy

islam does not serve the same God as Abraham, Isaac and Jacob or Jehovah God! Neither do they accept Jesus Christ as the Son of God or truly God manifested in the flesh! And the Bible says… if ANYONE rejects that Jesus came in the flesh that they are accursed and not of God! Further if one knows Jesus they will know God… His Father and if they do not know or accept Jesus that they cannot know or come to The Father God! On the basis of the words of Jesus it is another god that islam knows or refers to and not Jesus’ Heavenly Father… Jehovah God! islam rejects that God has a Son! They also do not believe that Jesus was crucified so if He didn’t die for us well then He could not have been resurrected either! The bible says if there be no resurrection ALL Religion is vain and that we all remain in our sins! This will help just ask a follower of islam if allah had or has an only begotten Son named Jesus Christ? If not a different god for certain!

        • David Aguilar

Interesting. All your statements (Mostly wrong btw) depict you as religions man against all religions but a Christian religion, a hardcore Christian religion…an extreme hardcore Christians religion (Or a T..). i.e. “They also do not believe that Jesus was crucified so if He didn’t die for us” Who are they? Muslims only? Because “they” may want to include Jews (Like the Jesus Jew) in the non-believers.-js

          • dndgaddy

BTW tell me what is not true… that I stated concerning islam’s belief system… concerning Jesus and His Father? And what does islam believe then about who Jesus is! BTW the Jews one day will come to faith in Jesus Christ as their Messiah… according to the scriptures. Further “they” can be islam, you… me… the Jews or otherwise. Jesus Christ is the way to God… according to the scriptures… that is interesting isn’t it! True Christianity accepts that Jesus Christ is the only way to God His Father do you have another plan based on the scriptures?

            • David Aguilar

For starters, First Sentence “islam does not serve the same God as Abraham” is a lie. OId testament is the same for Islam, Jewish and Christians. If you believe the son and the father are two persons, well u gotta a lot to learn to be a Christian or you are smarter than St. Agustin, which it may be true but it would take a lot more than lies to convince me. So if they believe in the same God as Abraham (Or Christians), ergo they believe in Jesus, whether they know it or now it is the same person.-js

          • dndgaddy

I didn’t believe you had any real corrections to offer… but I’ll wait?

      • Cool Hand Luke

All is well and good with Islam, it is the Muslim people who are in serious need of rehabilitation.
When a Muslim doesn’t get what a Muslim wants, he can get out right nasty.

The minute someone believes himself to be the guardian of God’s will, then we have a problem.
As someone who is an infidel and doesn’t believe in God, every death in the name of Allah is a death without a cause. Someone died for nothing. As if the murderer is somehow qualified to know God’s will.

Yes, yes, there are many fine Muslims, but there is a large enough gray area to account for millions of Muslims who are not so fine. Do you not agree?

        • David Aguilar

Strongly disagree. A true, and brave, statement will read more like “Yes, yes, most Muslims are great”. Unless you are coward or believe that God did not know what he (Or She) was going when creating Muslims.-js.

      • DTH

Judge Muslims not by their words but by their actions. If you do, you will find that they are intolerant barbarians.

        • David Aguilar

          As oppose to?-just asking.

      • David Aguilar

@Albaniann. I admire your courage. I would be lying if I say I could confirm all of your statements. But I will say said this, your statements sound true to most logical higher mind brains. And they motivate me to know more about the religion of my Muslim brother’s. One humble Christian.

        • dndgaddy

Look what islam is doing to Christians around the world… they are not brothers in Jesus Christ! There is no such thing as chrislam… well… other than man trying to build religion on lies and not the gospel truth.

      • jules

All one has to do is look at life in any Muslim country. Women treated as chattel, can’t drive, can’t get educated, female circumcision, etc. Anyone not Muslim in those countries treated a s second class citizens. Koran states it’s ok to lie/deceive a non Muslim.

      • amishmime

*Muslims ruled Spain for around 800 years–yet never coerced people to convert? You really believe this?
They “ruled Spain” is a gentle term isn’t it? More like the invaded and conquered Spain. And if you don’t think they did their beheading thing there you are stupid. Yes stupid.
And why in the Quran does it say your Allah is the “greatest cheater/deceiver there is”? How can anyone trust anything you or Islam has to say if Allah is the greatest deceiver? Those are Muhammad’s words not mine.
You also mention the Coptic Christians. There are, what, 14 million? Did you know the whole of northern Africa was at one time Christian? Let me guess they weren’t coerced to convert either right?

You expect us to believe the middle age Muslims were more “tolerant” or forgiving than your ISIS is today?

Turkey has been a great ally of the USA. They had over 13,000 soldiers support and fight with the USA in the Korean War. They were invaluable during the cold war. They allowed US planes to use their airbase in Incirlik against Iraq and Serbia and Libya and elsewhere. Israel needs to get cut off from US money. They don’t fight on our side EVER. They don’t even allow US planes to use their airports. And Cyprus? Who cares about them. Greece and Cyprus have NEVER helped the USA in anyway. They too need to get cutoff from any assistance. Bankrupt losers are the Greeks. A true ally is someone that stands with you and not standing alone accepting billions in taxpayer money like Israel.

      • john

You are too ignorant to make statements like that Only the Turk army was helping the US the secular ever vanishing part of Turkey They became US allies to save as much as they could after the Ottoman Empire collapsed They were weak at that time and with many enemies and Russian Revolution at their door And they were able to save Constantinople which has always been Christian land I guess you can read that too in the books You must be some kind of “modern” student that knows 10% of history and believes the world starts there

        • Captnstabbin

Greeks are useless and bankrupt people. They are in nato and refuse to help against the war against Isis. They just sit around all day smoking cigarettes and drinking “Turkish” coffee while they accept welfare from the EU. Turks allow the USA to use their country to launch air strikes against isis. Turkey will always be Americas friend.

          • john

The proof is in your words that you are influenced by political situation to make historical statements Read yourself Greeks have not occupied anybody ever unlike Turks and Muslims Go f.k youself with muslims I’m not

    • Fraga123

Coordinated extermination of Christians, Mandans and Yazidi from the Middle East is almost complete.

What the Young Turks, Atatürk and the Taliban tried to finish has been completed largely due to the ignorance and unwillingness of the West to give aid to the politically incorrect Christians and other non-Muslims in the region who are largely edited out of regional history (Assyrians? Armenians?).

And this beast continues in office. Not surprising.

I am not for Syria or for HIllary but how can you say that Israel was backing ISIS. Why would they. With Assad they knew what they had in Syria and somewhat had a truce with him. They dont want some radical group in power in Syria or they lost control over who they were backing. I do know that Syria supported Hezballah and maybe they did pitch in at the first helping out the free Syrian Rebels but they would not help out ISIS.

Turkey should have been kicked out of NATO and declared a “terrorist state” decades ago.

Turkey has been a great ally of the USA. They had over 13,000 soldiers support and fight with the USA in the Korean War. They were invaluable during the cold war. • What is most perplexing is why alliances are treated as though they are family bonds? They are not persistent. Your ally today, possibly your rival tomorrow. That’s just common sense.

Sure Turkey has been our ally at one point (or several) before… but they should not be our ally now. Erdogan is having Ottoman wet dreams and that should concern us far more than anything Putin is up to.

          • Captnstabbin

Telling Turkey to buzz off would be stupid. Basically the only secular Muslim nation in the Mideast and you think it’s a good idea to treat them like terrorists? I do nt think so. Secondly, they help us out a great deal. Yes, turkey has security concerns because the Kurds keep trying to carve out a big chunk of turkey for heir own. Britain only recently began bombing Isis. We’ve been there for years. Does that mean we treat Britain like terrorists too? You have a very simplistic view of what’s going on and complex problems aren’t fixed with simple answers. What then? Just amazing how Israel gets out of this unscathed without any criticism? They get a majority of American dollars for their “defense”. For what? They don’t help us in any way. They don’t provide troops EVER, they don’t provide air strikes, they don’t even allow American planes to use their airbases. Yes, alliances change but Turkey hasn’t done anything to hurt America. You just have this unrealistic expectation that turkey is supposed to clean up Americas mess. America created Isis. They are remnants of the old Iraqi army when stupid Paul Bremer disbanded it and told them to F off. How about the USA stop occupying and bombing everyone in the Mideast they don’t like?

            • First of all, Turkey isn’t the only CONSTITUTIONALLY secular Muslim nation in the Mideast (while also barely being secular at all. Its constitution requires a separation of church and state but there is, alas, no real separation). It’s always funny when some misinformed internet warrior comes along saying something like “you have a very simplistic view of…” something they, themselves, literally have no clue about. Turkey is not only clearly compromised at the highest level (Erdogan’s own son is a broker of sorts for ISIS) but has been pissing off its Arab neighbors for decades if not centuries. There is no love for Turkey from the Arabs and vice versa and its mostly rooted in racial superiority complexes. If this sounds familiar it’s because it is lol and there’s another growing power in the Mideast that holds the same position: Iran.

What Erdogan really wants is his neo-Ottoman Empire built on a Sunni-dominant league of nations. ISIS destabilizing all the neighboring regions is of no concern to him. After all, they would indirectly (or, possibly, directly) provide him with a ripe opportunity to build his OWN Caliphate; he’s even said so himself! It would only be a matter of time before he begins to align Turkey (and their brand of un-Wahhabi Islam and thus not the impetuously anti-Shiite shade of it that is practiced in Saudi Arabia and its league of cohorts) with Iran in their singular disgust for Israel and form what would essentially be the most dominant non-Israeli force in the Mideast and the first legitimate threat to Israel since the 1948 Arab-Israeli war and then the later 1967 “Six Day War.” (and no, Saddam’s Iraq was never really that much of a threat to Israel; an Iran-Turkey Caliphate, on the other hand, would certainly be)

Erdogan is basically playing the same game as Darth Sidious/Emperor Palpatine (if you are at all familiar with Star Wars, that is). The master plan is a shadowy stroke of misdirection. And it isn’t like this is anything new… this has been clear to anyone who regularly follows Mideast news sources for the past few years.

I am fully aware of our Mideast policy and how we’ve created conflicting militia groups throughout the region as part of our failed imperialism, filling power vacuums with one strong-arm authoratarian after another; that doesn’t change the fact that Turkey is a snake in the grass we must mind.

(this is friendly discussion, I hope. I am not intentionally trying to be mean lol)

F..k Turkey They will turn into Sharia within 10 years Just like Iran

              • Captnstabbin

Sure. And you provide zero evidence to prove that. You can’t so you won’t. If we should be honest f**k Israel. They are our supposed ally whom we donate billions of tax dollars to of which the American taxpayer will never see a dime of while they dont even allow the USA to use their airbases to launch air strikes against Isis. Israel doesn’t even fight Isis. Worst friends in the world.

        • JIML

Other than Turkey none of the countries you mention have ever been a friend and supporter of DAESH/ISIS/ISIL.

    • Josh R

Americans be aware,Turkey and Qatar are a major supporter for terrorists.US is silent as usual.!

      • Dami

United States already know this. Nothing will be done about it. Its all politics.

      • JoseDisqus

We’ve been knowing it all along. We just turn a blind eye, or in this case deaf ears.

    • Larry Harber

NO CHIT!…tell the world that obama’s number was in there also!… look at all the oil tankers in line waiting to unload in turkey… i saw a video of 100’s and 100’s of tankers lining the road at turkeys border

    • Barry_H_Entai

Any legitimacy this article might have had (!) was lost when the author included the BS about Canada helping ISIS. What a load. I stopped reading right there.

Canada has been one of the most helpful nations in supporting the Kurds in their fight AGAINST ISIS. They have done more than the US in providing actual military equipment to arm and enable the Kurds to drive ISIS backwards.

      Pathetic.

    • President Obama might be starting to sweat. It took Russia to call out Turkey. How can we not know where Daesh is getting it’s money from? Syria? No. Iraq? No. Afghanistan? No. By not telling us that it was Turkey, we had to consider Russia and China. President Obama, president Reagan once said that a fish rots from the head down. Has your ambition to not send troops might back fire if you get implicated in this complicity.

You cant be more wrong. So sad you dont even know the truth.

      • Steve

I come from a Christian family, indigenous Iraqi’s called the Assyrians. Whats going on in the middle east has been going on for 1400 years. This isnt new to us, but its new to the West. Bush didnt start this, it was started in ancient times. All your politics and conspiracy theories mean absolutely nothing to the evil people in the middle east. Its a whole different world there, i dont expect you to understand, but you can learn to understand if you really wanted to.

    • D Worden

Mint Press is connected to Iran, who sides with Assad. So can’t be trusted for unbiased factual reporting. Look how it calls it “NATO support for ISIS”, when it knows Turkey defies NATO whenever it gives any support to ISIS.

    • richard

Tandem!!!! President Putin was 100% correct and accurate in saying publicly that the Turkish regime supports and finances ISIS including oil transactions, and possibly it suports the Talibans!!! Europe and NATO is (calas) finished. All EU secrets are passed on to Western and American enemies —– never never never ever contemplate in admitting Turkey into the European Union.

    • This is just another misleading post: This man was a leader of the rebel group financed by the USA corporations through Turkey; ISIS is a different group…(:>)

    • disqus_4QILcqf28h

Let the conspiracy theories begin. Even if this account is accurate, which I doubt, it
does not prove the intelligence agency is complicit- it could be a rouge individual.

We Knew that but OBAMA wouldn’t admit an NATO Allie and Muslim nation was operating as ISIS 5th Columnists. My son told me Turkey was a financier to ISIS 8 months ago. And Even Putin said the said recently. That’s why Donald Trump will win next November because the MEDIA and Establishment are all liars. MEDIA and Establishment are Traitors to the US Constitution and the People. Also Bush helped get the Saudi’s out the day after 9/11. They are all dirty Hillary, Obama, Rubio, Bush, Christie, Kasick all like minded . Speak against Donald Trump its now official you are a ISIS 5th Columnist. Allot of Democrats are polling for Trump

      • Steve

Hacker group Anonymous found out first. In 2014 it hacked and received documentation proving Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar are helping ISIS with weapons and money. Like always, nobody cared to talk about it.

The Turkish ambassador was the last meeting of the day for our ambassador in Benghazi. When his vehicle left the consulate, the militia blockades were established for the assault. Buy a clue.

funny how people have glossed over the fact that Canada was also found to be helping ISIS fighters???? oh well they aren’t Muslim so we won’t hate the Canadians they gave us Ted Cruz, and John Candy

      • D Worden

Well, it’s stupid and not a fact, so yeah, people ignore it.

      • Duke Nuke’em

Erdogan is an Obama the Caliph of ISIS vassal… he has no foreign policy of his own outside of palestinian flotillas… All this ISIL business and CIA support for it stinks to high heaven

      • Willowbrook

First, this “news” is likely false. Finding a working cell phone on the dead body sounds like miraculously finding an immaculate passport on the street when the twin towers fell. Or finding a passport on the street after the Paris shooting(s). The media is totally monitored and controlled. We must consider WHY this ‘news’ report has been released. It is clear that Erdogan is ISIS connected. It is likely that the CIA/NWO is setting up Erdogan to be taken out; possibly by “an internal coup”. Right.

        • Duke Nuke’em

Yes go ahead bury your head in the sand….

You are probably right Joe.Those of us that are watching closely can only glean the probabilities of the picture. That being said ,there are more and more new journalistic web sites that deliver credible information and the truth will not be denied ,of this I am convinced.Slowly we will pierce the veil that hides many misdeeds and the truth will be shocking to many when the curtain rises.

    • I believe most Americans are waking up to the fact that we along with Turkey, Qatar and Saudi Arabia have been aiding and abetting ISIS, the only ones who seem to not gotten it yet is the Main Stream Media. I honestly believe they know, but as usual they are providing cover for the Marxist Sodomite at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave once again.

      • James Wherry

When MintPressNews starts purchasing news space on the main thread of Yahoo!, it’s gone “mainstream.”

I praised President Obama’s commitment to stay out of the Syrian Civil War, last year. I could even find it within me to ACCEPT his entry into the Iraqi crisis based on the genocide of Kurds and Shi’ites and the U.N. Charter REQUIRES us to prevent genocides without any need for U.N. Security Council resolutions.

But I think most of the aid has come from Turkey and the Gulf States, not America. Too much bungling and delay, if that were true.

        • Duke Nuke’em

Riiiight. That must be why every time SAA or some militia loyal to Assad or Kurds overrun ISIL positions they find US supplied medications, tents, communications equipment, food and TOW missiles…. Bc CIA does not support ISIS… Back in the 80s when CIA supported Osama bin Laden and the Saudi backed terrorist freedom fighters in Afghanistan they called such work through Sunni proxies “plausible deniability”… I bet many years from now we are going to see another bullshyte movie starring Tom Hanks glorifying American support for MUSLIM JIHADIST TERROR… Wilson’s war or some stupyd shyte like that.. Fvk yeahh!

          • James Wherry

Let’s see how much you scewed up.

            1. Of COURSE the terrorists had U.S. weapons! They over-ran the cowardly Iraqi Army and TOOK THEM FROM THE IRAQIS! http://www.washingtonsblog.com/2014/07/isis-taking-iraq-using-captured-american-weapons.html and http://www.latimes.com/world/middleeast/la-fg-iraq-isis-arms-20140629-story.html.

It’s even likely that Iraqi Generals SOLD the weapons to ISIL! Shi’ites! http://www.businessinsider.com.au/iraqi-weapons-reportedly-ending-up-with-isis-2014-11/

I doubt you’ve been to Iraq or Syria. For those of us who served in Iraq in 2008-2009, the corruption was evident and we warned our higher headquarters – who know – that Iraqi generals had ‘ghost Soldiers” on the payroll so that they could pocket the money for their salaries. They sold equipment sent to them, and they even extorted money from their own Soldiers by selling food to them! And yes, this was before ISIL and we did warn them what a stupid waste this was. “Corruption” was seen as just a cost of doing business, if you wanted to get anything done.

            2. Your conspiracy theory ignores the victories by the Kurds which WE funded – US, ya know, as well as the victories by the Iraqi Army in Ramadi, today using fighters we funded, trained and equipped.

            3. America provided support for 100,000 Mujahadeen Muslims from 40 different nations in Afghanistan. The Soviet Union was doing everything YOU fantasize we do, overseas. Why not stop them? Some of them went on to be opponents of Hamid Gul and O’Sama bin Laden and he had them killed, just prior to 911.

“After leaving college in 1979, bin Laden went to Pakistan, joined Abdullah Azzam and used money and machinery from his own construction company to help the mujahideen resistance in the Soviet war in Afghanistan.[81] He later told a journalist: “I felt outraged that an injustice had been committed against the people of Afghanistan.”[82] Under CIA’s Operation Cyclone from 1979 to 1989, the United States and Saudi Arabia provided $40 billion worth of financial aid and weapons to almost 100,000 mujahideen and “Afghan Arabs” from forty Muslim countries through Pakistan’s ISI.[83] Bin Laden met and built relations with Hamid Gul, who was a three-star general in the Pakistani army and head of the ISI agency. Although the United States provided the money and weapons, the training of militant groups was entirely done by the Pakistani Armed Forces and the ISI.[84]

“By 1984, bin Laden and Azzam established Maktab al-Khidamat, which funneled money, arms and fighters from around the Arab world into Afghanistan. Through al-Khadamat, bin Laden’s inherited family fortune[85] paid for air tickets and accommodation, paid for paperwork with Pakistani authorities and provided other such services for the jihadi fighters. Bin Laden established camps inside Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Pakistan and trained volunteers from across the Muslim world to fight against the Soviet puppet regime, the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan; he would also participate in some combat activity, such as the Battle of Jaji. It was during this time that he became idolised by many Arabs.[9]”

            https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osama_bin_Laden#Mujahideen_in_Afghanistan

            4. We over-threw the Soviet Union and got our money’s worth.

      • D Worden

Wrong, Mr Buck Wheat. US has NOT aided ISIS, and has pressured Saudis, etc, to not support them.
Mint Press is connected to Iran and thus Assad too, so has very biased reporting that you shouldn’t trust. But you obviously are a moron, if you think Obama is a Marxist or sodomite!

    • James Wherry

Why does everyone act so surprised? Haven’t there been news stories about Turkey’s purchases since ISIL took over and started selling oil in June, 2014?!?

      • D Worden

Even Assad buys ISIS oil. Hey, it’s cheap!

        • James Wherry

I had heard that it was like $200 a barrel in Turkey, but I guess that was $200 per tanker???

So Turkey has murdered a United States Service Member. They have killed A Russian Service Member. They have murdered hundreds of innocent Kurds, women and children, and the United States is part of them. The Obama cadre is backing Turkey to the hilt while Turkey goes about killing U.S. Servicemen. What kind of sick Muslim Negro do we have in the Whitehouse? Obama is allowing Turkey to murder our troops and we still support them in NATO? What a phucqed up country we are.

      • D Worden

You’re a idiot. Obama doesn’t “back Turkey to the hilt” at all. He criticizes them all the time. But they are letting us use their air base, so we can’t get too rough with them, as we need that base in fighting ISIS.

        • Walter Of Florida

D Worden, why must I be an idiot, you Used Tampon sucker. I stated my opinion, I didn’t call you a name in the process, and you lie when you say Obama has criticized Turkey. You lie when you say we need the base at Incirlik to fight ISIS. You have no idea what you’re talking about.

    • dn32844

The U.S. government created ISIS and its darling allies fund and support them. Without the U.S. government meddling in others affairs world wouldn’t be in as chaotic as it is today. They preach democracy and Liberty and even destroy other countries in the name of freedom while keep worst tyrannical regimes such as SAUDI ARABIA close to their damned heart.

      • D Worden

Are you an Iranian? That’s the sort of stupid bull they always say. US didn’t create ISIS.

        • dn32844

I’m not Iranian. And buttheads like you are always in
          denial. ISIS leadership consist of
Iraq special forces who came to exist because of stupidities of that mother fkr
G.W. Bush and his entire administration. Regretfully, there is no justice in
this world, otherwise said bastards would be rotting in jail for crimes against

    • Billy J. Bell

Russia is “spot on” with it’s call that Turkey is buying oil from ISIS — we need to change our tune, and help Russia defeat ISIS.

      • Davo Apo

        Well Said!

      • D Worden

Did you know Assad buys ISIS oil too? Even a Russian middleman was recently caught buying oil from ISIS. Most ISIS oil is sold within Syria to Syrians. It’s the cheapest available. And the US has criticized Turkey for buying ISIS oil long before Russia got there.

    • Craig Umniy

Really? Baseless allegations amplified by a guy who while at State was one of the brilliant authors of how to win the peace in Iraq. So taking the word of a warlord who killed an ISIS commander is now legit? Surely as the source said, the dead commander just happened to have listed in his mobile contacts a name listed prominently as being that of someone from the TGIS or MIT intelligence services. Sounds perfectly logical if you are totally naïve. These Turkish connections stories are being propagated by Putin’s underlings and others, full stop. And what is this garbage about the Russian Su-24 having been shot down by the Turks while it was bombing ISIS? This is demonstrably false, as 90% of the bombing Russia has been doing in Syria has been against other anti-Asad groups who are also involved with fighting against ISIS. When the Russian plane was smoked, it was near the Med coast, bombing Turkomen forces 150 km from the closest ISIS area.

      • D Worden

Mint Press has Iranian connections, so very biased for Iran, Assad, and Russia. Pretty obvious reading their “reporting”.

    • Frederick King

      Not surprising at all.

    • PhillipNagle

Is anyone surprised? ISIS was created when over 5,000 Sunni Muslim fighters from central Asia were brought in through Turkey to bolster the war against Assad launched by Turkey, Saudi Arabia and the Obama regime began to falter. ISIS has been able to sell its oil through Turkey while Turkey has given lip service to those opposing ISIS.

      • D Worden

Assad buys ISIS oil too. And that is NOT how ISIS started.

        • PhillipNagle

That was pure false propaganda about Assad buying ISIS to protect our “ally” Turkey. The lie was floated once and proved so unbelievable that it is no longer repeated. As for ISIS, its core at the time of its rising were the imported central Asian Sunni fighters.

    • Eli

Zionist media is following Gubbels rule which, lie, continue to lie and persist in lying until you believed. This document is a part of this strategy the accuse Turkey. Again ISIS never attacked Israel and will never do it. Israel has border with Syria but ISIS think Paris is much closer. ISIS is attacking everybody against Assad, a Tyran Israel is protecting behind the scene. ISIS attacked Turkey, Paris, US, UK, Saudi Arabia, countries seeking the removal of Assad. So theses charlatans are trying to do everything to suffocate freedom in the middle east because they want those people to live in misery and backward. Couple weeks ago, an Israeli soldier from special forces Givati joined ISIS, why?. Everybody is middle east, which the most important factor in the equation, knows who ISIS and for who they are working. They know that ISIS is working against them and attacking every country supporting them like ISS. Gobbles failed and zionist media will too.

      • Michael

okay, you lost me Eli. how is this “Zionist media” when Israel and Turkey are actually mending their relations? they don’t attack Israel because, in case you haven’t noticed, Israel is a pretty tough nut to crack. they are not France or Belgium. they pay attention to security and accordingly, there are much softer targets to attack.

        • Eli

Michael are you serious? The Palestinians are attacking Israel is a daily basis, so where is their security. Here are the proofs that attacking Israel is much than any country if ISIS has the will or the order. 1- ISIS fighters can very easy melt into Israel population because they both are middle easterners. 2- ISIS has frontier with Israel. So the logistic and proximity make Israel an easy target. The reason they did not attack Israel because ISIS was created by Assad, Israel, Iran, Egypt.. to justify the acceptance of Assad. Netanyahu came to the US and asked to support Assad. Every GOP candidates, who are funded by zionist Sheldon Edleson, are defending Assad. Now as for the Media, yes they are zionist media because as Victor Hugo said, if you want to know who is the master see who he is not allowed to be criticized. Show me one media criticizing Israel even when killing women and children in Palestine.

isis is the result of al queda being embarrassed by assad army they were defeated, obama and corrupt and allies qatar saudi turkey and nato revamped al queda with help of bhengazi clinton, with anti tank missiles, and later toyota trucks from texas thanks department of defense, and re-named al queda => ISIS, but becuz there are americans who are in the know, like info wars and drudge, obama and the corrupt had to add the names ISIL, and moderate rebels, al nusra, etc….to confuse the zombie americans….that there are good rebels and bad rebels and that there is a civil war. even though 85% supported ASSad, while putin was on the sidelines watching he realize, it was an invasion and a coup to get rid of assad by foreignors and the west, shiite vs, sunni……and the theft of oil. obama and u.s military did nothing to isis, in fact , they made isis stronger specially with hundreds of accidently dropping weapons and ammo into isis territory , and giving heads up warning to isis hiding in buildings before the bombs arrive. when russia was invited to help unlike the west, russia destroyed isis in 3 weeks, chekmate, putin even invited obama to help… but since he was expose of true intentions….obama stumbled and started to babble that russia is making it worst….lol….

          • Michael

Yes, I am serious. The only attacks the Palestinians are able to muster these days in Israel proper are isolated knife attacks. That’s in very stark contrast to what they used to be able to do. ISIS is not interested in being embarrassed by its inability to cause in Israel the mass casualties they are able to effect in other places such as France. Not sure how you can say the ISIS was created by Iraq. Sure, they share some of the same enemies — it is a civil war — but ISIS has been fighting and defeating Assad’s forces. They took Raqqa and Palmyra and other places as well. In contrast, the Kurds and ISIS are unquestionably enemies — even you would agree with that one. And the Turks have been bombing the snot out of the Kurds because they see them as their enemies — even you cannot deny that. Like it or not — ISIS and Turkey have been helping one another’s interests and don’t blame the American press (which you ridiculously and with no basis contend is Zionist controlled) for that story. The Russians as well as other European countries have come to the same conclusion.

      • BOTOSANI123 .

Eli the degenerate subhuman is not able to read the article watt a pity that the subhuman garbage has the possibility to post their lies.

        • Eli

Facts are stubborns just stick with that. Zionists are known to attack the messenger when the facts are crystal clear. Here are the questions: Did ISIS attacked Israel? Did ISIS attacked Iran? Did ISIS attacked Russia? Did ISIS attacked Turkey? Did Israel asked the US to not support the removal of Assad? Answer them.

    • graham turnor

“This is the second NATO country implicated in assisting ISIS troops. The first was Canada.” So I suppose USA funding and arming the Syrian rebels which is now ISIS does´nt count?

      • D Worden

Don’t believe everything you read. You are falling for propaganda and biased shoddy reporting. Canada and US do not support ISIS. US is killing them.

    • G White

Gosh, what a surprise? Another great victory for obama, who continues to make Russia and Iran look like the good guys. What idiots obama and kerry are. They are even making Bush look capable….and that is a feat.

So now since in Bush’s infinite wisdom, instead of listening to both of his CIA Directors who each forewarned him that there was no probable reason to invade Iraq, having eliminated Hussein, the most diabolical Dictator all were scared of his wrath (after his wholesale murder of 200 thousand Kurds), who effectively kept a lid on sectarian wars. After Hussein’s removal allowed Iran to walk into Iraq, acquire the Uranium needed making Nuclear bombs inevitable, allowed Assad to go on his rampage to maintain his ruthless reign in Syria placing Obama in the unenviable position of having to make an deal with Iran, somehow since Obama isn’t a magician and cannot put the genie back in the bottle, stating from the inception that ever since the greatest blunder of the 21st century, that such a colossal mess is clearly an albatross on future leaders and generations, almost impossible to contain and manage, created ISIS from the ashes of Hussein’s regime, which caused the exodus of hundreds of thousands of refugees, and somehow any of this, except living up to his campaign promise to get us out, is somehow Obama’s fault who ran his campaign on the promise on ending the most useless war since Vietnam, which the US entered being the Congress and the Senate being duped by Bush and Cheney for maligned reasons.

    • Mujeeb Khan

This is cheap Russian propaganda backed by a neo-conservative supporter of the Likud Bloc David Phillips and further endorsed by the genocidal despot Bashar Assad and the PKK terrorists. Interesting that Mint Press which claims to support the Palestinians routinely serves as a mouthpeice for this propaganda. Turkey supports Muslim democratic movements in the region including the elected President of Egypt Morsi. ISIS hates Turkey because it is a historic adversary of the hateful Wahhabi Salafi jihadist movement backed by Saudi Arabia which also supported the coup in Egypt along with Putin, Netanyahu, the UAE and Assad. People need to wake up and see how such despots are playing their Machiavellian games in the region. Assad has long facilitated the rise of ISIS as a way of destroying the mainstream opposition to his genocidal rule, also 85% of Russian strikes have not been on ISIS but the mainstream opposition which was the main force fighting ISIS in Aleppo and Idlib.

      • BOTOSANI123 .

As a Pakistany you are not so bright watt has Israel to do whit the Erdogan wana be Ataturk or Saladin ,it is the same game the Pakistani intelligence played whit the USA and Osama living at a military college in Abotabad.

    • liberalshateamerica

      Come on Putin, exterminate them!

    • It’s hard to call it Russian propaganda if the source is “Former US Department of State senior adviser David Phillips”. He is on our side and would scream bloody murder in the press if he was misquoted. However, has anybody heard of “Jabbar al-Ma’mouri”? Is he an evil terrorist, a neutral terrorist or one of our tame CIA paid, throat cutting, raping, beheading terrorists?
It has an unfortunate ring of truth only because it is not the first time the accusation has been made. It’s just another example of why Turkey does not belong in NATO, or the EU, or the civilized world.

      • bob bear

And you know Phillips motives how?

        • I have no idea what his motives are. However, I would not assume that an American official had the motive to hurt Turkey without some proof.

      • Mujeeb Khan

David Phillips is a neoconservative with strong ideological ties to the Likud Bloc. As an ardent defender of the Israeli assault on the Mavi Marmara he has a particular bone to pick with Turkey and Erdogan.

        • BOTOSANI123 .

MEDICATION FOR DEMETIA PLEASE YOU CAN GET IT FREE IN ISRAEL

        • It’s hard to picture him as a “neoconservative”, whatever that is. He is a regular on CNBC and they are as conservative as Obama. He is also the head of the “program for peace building”, which seems to be a liberal think tank bent on criticizing everyone.

          • Mujeeb Khan

Good pts Rodger. However if you read his articles on the Mavi Marmara he is clearly on apologist for Netanyahu. The Likud Bloc following the “Peripheral Strategy” is bent on promoting despotism and strife in the region as is Saudi Arabia and the UAE. This is why they cooperated on the coup in Egypt. Turkey strongly supported the Arab Spring as well as the human rights of the Palestinians which makes it a target for propaganda linking Russia, Assad, Sisi, the Likud etc.

        • Parham Noori-Esfandiari

I guess Philip is responsible for Erdogan making A thousand room palace and have his guards wear Mongolian costume when Abbas visited his palace, this street vendor wants to be the Kalif of new Ottoman Empire. • Marcus Taber

Kick them out of NATO and take back Constantinople.

    • ytuque

Turkey needs to be kicked out of NATO.

    • Marcus Mattau

Duh! What have we been saying for years now? ISIS was organised by Saddam’s ex-generals, financed by Saudi Arabia, armed by Turkey, and blessed by the US. Now that the US and her crooked allies have lost the battle, they remain quiet and let the media express shock. The US will get away with this too, but, Turkey and the Saudis will pay dearly.

    • Edgardo L. Perez-De Leon

I am from US but I understand the nature of NATO, initially to fight the Cold War against the Soviet Block but now a useless block except to bully China and Russia and every body else South and East of Turkey with its nukes and combined military power, not to fight communism, a block without geopolitical purpose for Europe but dominated by US.

    • Richel Alonzo

Russian propaganda machine ‘worse than Soviet Union’

violence in eastern Ukraine is all Kiev’s fault, that Ukraine is crawling with Russia-hating neo-Nazis and fascists, and that it’s the US government which is fuelling the crisis behind the scenes, while Russia tries to act as peacemaker.

“Aggressive and deceptive propaganda… worse than anything I witnessed in the Soviet Union,” is the verdict of Lev Gudkov, the director of the Levada Centre, Russia’s most well respected polling organisation.

    • Wosene G.

We talked about this long time ago. At least Turkey and few of its allies help ISIS.

      • Richel Alonzo

Few allies include US, Saudi, UK & Israel

    • fishin_in_the_muck

      • RP8677

You mean “strong” like George W. Bush? No thanks.

      • Anthony Young

I agree. When NATO members are supporting ISIS and not being punished, that’s ridiculous. But what do you expect when we have a President like Obama who is so soft on Muslim terrorists.

      • Neriku

There is nothing wrong with US leaders, the problem with them is, the persons who attend to talk with the leader. If they paint, another version of all things happening, who he will trust, the press, or his men.
Once caught in to their net, they know how to carry on mixing things. They know what he thinks, and their version, the rest is all fun, while they lead US, and the President pretend he is leading. With no offence, but things streaghting up.

    • Bilal

      bullllllllllllllllllllll….modern russian propaganda.

    • RP8677

The IS commander was killed by Hashd al-Shaabi, a loyalist volunteer force. Jabbar al-Ma’mouri, a leaderwithin the force made the announcement. He said, “The mobile phone also contains other important information which cannot be disclosed now, and it has been delivered to the specialized security groups for further scrutiny.”

The morons who think this story is true need to wise up. The only source for this story is a “loyal volunteer”, meaning mercenary paid by Assad’s government. I would hardly consider a claim by a paid mouthpiece of the Syrian government to be a trustworthy source. And of course, they are conveniently not disclosing any of the information found on the cellphone. Plus, this same story claims that Canada also supports ISIS, a claim so ridiculous it is not even worth vindicating.

Is that the best you have in the “Deflection” category? PS- Newly discovered Clintonian E-Mail Top Secret says “Stop spending and we will reduce the debt” Please don’t tell your fellow Dems/Progs. Kindly send a Thank You card to Newt.

          • Guest

When is the last time that a Democratic Congress ever had a budget surplus? The Republicans take control of both Houses of Congress for the 1st time in 40 years, and boom, within 2 years we have budget surpluses.

Now what was it you were saying?

          • zipper

The usual Liberal lies. When Bill Clinton left office, he left behind a deficit of $139+ billion, as well as a national debt of almost $6 trillion. There was NO surplus that you fools love to claim Bush turned into a deficit.
Your Clinton jobs claim is a whopper! While job creation on his watch was respectable, Reagan’s was better. And your claim that it was “record shattering- never seen before,” is plain stupidity!
            Toss your trash somewhere else.

and idiots like you have no concept of history. It’s only “illegal” when a republican isn’t in the white house. PFFFFFFFFFFFFFT

        • Flick

The same can be said of democrats; ardently opposed to the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq until it was Obama leading those efforts… then suddenly hawkish. ‘Politics’ and ignorance run equally on both sides of the fence.

          • Veteran

revisionist history is not your strong suit..
Intelligent people know the facts, and they are written in official records, all over the internet.. Not the faux entertainment stories.. but actual verified historical facts..

            • Flick

Re-reading my post, I would change “ardently opposed to the invasions.” They were not. They were, however, highly critical of how Bush Jr. ran the war effort. While Obama promised change in that area, too, it was full steam ahead carrying on Bush’s policies, but suddenly the Dems were supportive of the same kinds of decisions. Keith Olbermann is the one who stands out in my mind as being particularly egregious in this regard. My point is simply that human nature, fickle as it is, remains the same regardless of which side of the aisle one sits. You can keep the insults.

    • lambchops

The fact that Turkey is in on this does not surprise me. Foreigners would go to Turkey and then cross their border or so it was told by the news 2014. This is old news. Canada is a different story. If Canada’s intelligence is in on this then we are looking at the wrong border line when we say illegal mexicans are the only threat. We obviously need more intricate strong and sound border security on both Southern and NORTHERN borders.

      • RP8677

The fact that you would believe any of this conspiracy theory shows that you need to be seriously examined. The entire premise of this story hinges on the statement of a “loyal volunteer” of Assad’s forces. As for that Canadian conspiracy? It’s based on nothing other than a human trafficker’s claim that he works for ISIS, and that his handler is the Canadian ambassador to Jordan, with no supporting evidence what so ever.

It is amazing such facts are not disclosed by the west voluntarily.

1). Remember Kobani (Kobane)? ISIS reinforcement coming inside Turkey.

2). Remember the soccer stadium crowds in Turkey chanting “Allahu Akbar”(god is great) after the attacks on Paris by ISIS.

3). Remember the plumber company truck sold in the auction ending up in Turkey then into Syria into ISIS retrofitted with anti- aircraft with the Plumber company logo and telephone number still intact. Plumber is now suing the auction company from getting death threats.

4). Turkish troops inside the Northern part of Mosul which is under ISIS control “Training Iraqis” to fight ISIS.

5). ISIS commander killed with cell phone retrieved with revealed messages from Turkish intelligence services. NO WAY!!!! (Just being sarcastic)

We need to pretend that they are a successful secular Muslim nation … while ignoring that they don’t act at all like other NATO “allies.”

      • Zam Zam

Denying the Armenian Genocide and denying the massacres of other non-Islamic groups such as Assyrians and Greeks. Having the worst record when it comes to jailing and killing journalists. Massacring Kurds for decades. They have a horrible track record, but I guess the powers that be find them a useful ally.

    • bonehead81440

Obama will suck up to Turkey. Ell if the truth be known he is sucking the leaders of ISIS/ISIL After all he himself said he was one of them!

    • Sergey Bond

Now I can understand why Turkey lied that Russian plane crossed their border – they just supported their people who fight for ISIS against Assad. Their goal is Syrian land (oil..).

    • m-bored-ok

America and Israel allies will make sure the Shia presence in ME will go back inside the Iranian borders. America will not allow Iran to hangout on the border of Israel and if you don’t agree you have not watched any presidential debates.

    • Dennis Kensington

Nobody is surprised. Turkey is one of the main proponents of ISIS. Turkey’s NATO membership has to be reviewed.

      • BOOMER1955

NO TURKEYS NATO MEMBERSHIP NEEDS TO BE PULLED AND NEVER LET BACK IN . LET RUSSIA DEAL WITH THAT FOOKING TURKEY,,,,,,ANYWAY THEY SEE FIT

    • Joel M. Wilson

Oh, and no – I am not a Muslim sympathizer. But how else do we explain folks that light fires by striking rocks and lack in-door plumbing and a structured education system be wracking so much havoc in the world. Answer: they are supported by some very intelligent, very wealthy, very well connected lobbyist’s and politicians.

    • Bill Stipek

With Allies like Turkey and Saudia Arabia, how needs enemies! Turkey Buys and sell Isis oil, and let’s terrorists cross there border like Grand Central Station. Saudia lopes off heads like there in a playoff game it Isis, and is one of the largest exporters of terrorism in the world! Meanwhile the have ripped off the United States and other Countries at a tune of 38 Trillion over the latest 50 years for Oil, while our brave soldiers have fought and died or these S. O. Bs! No more my friends, let them fight there own battles!

      • russianBear

        Excellent comment

      • Andy

They should fight their own battle. Muslim religion only proves one thing thing that there are more women in heaven that is why they want to go there with Jihad. I hope they go fast so we can have peace in our world.

    • Gregory Dittman

Turkey is just the proxy nation like Iraq was during the Iraq-Iran war. Saudi Arabia is also involved along with its Sunni neighbors.

    • Joel M. Wilson

C’mon people, we’re all just sheeple with limited grasp and understanding of what’s happening. You really think the folks running the US ( and western Europe) are this stupid? More likely they are very well aware the US masses will just drink the Kool-Aid while they connive with foreign powers to destabilize middle eastern countries based on need of natural resources and the prodding of lobbyists that will make them hordes of money. Like the people in those godless lands really mean anything to greedy speculators who realize there are plenty of folk in the world to spend $ on their products. After all; what’s a few million Muslims who are being made out to be thugs and scum when billions of other non-Muslims are ready to buy cars, gasoline, groceries, TV’s cell phone, drones, and everything else that comes from easily extracted oil.
If you think this is just theory and hyperbole, go back and ask yourself: are the Judeo-Christian people running the “civilized” countries really REALLY this dumb? That reeks of fantasy and media manipulation if you think complete idiots are running things.

      • Mark Coffman

Christians and so on are not stupid, they are nieve. They think that just because they think (know) peace is a good idea that everyone else does too. Just because their religion belief murder is wrong that everyone else also thinks that. The fact is and the bible says that evil is alive in the world, and that Christians have been charged with being vigillent. It’s hard, you have to get head around it, but we do have to resist evil. If you don’t then you find you are living with it, you start accepting the fact that it genetically based then you become a racist and then you start using the third reich methodologies to clear it. I am here to tell you that it is not genetic, it’s social, it has to do with what people believe.

The US needs to be more careful in whom it places support. They need to pull these historical documents and say: “look do you really belive this? you are only going to be getting our fractional support”, The rest is going to cost you, potentially cost you bigtime. You must not go around supporting your enemies.

        As the man said;

        • Joel M. Wilson

Many thanks for the dialogue Mark, excellent comments. Even as a “non-believer” (but not an atheists), your words ring so true. Thanks for contributing.

    • Oatmealforme

Surprise! Turkey does not belong in NATO, and it should be obvious that they are loyal to the virulent strain of Islam as embodied by ISIS.

    • Pacific Islanders

Maybe we need to kick the out of NATO. Let them tackle the Ruskies on their own.

      • russianBear

        Maybe nato should be dismantled?

        • Tony

NO WAY! Business is great, and by sticking together, keep Russia from being the world’s only power. oooops

    • Chris Mohammadi

      Sadly no one will care.

      • Ultra wi fi

Oh really no one will care? I’m sure Russia and china have marked it well.

        • William Thomas Salisbury

Yeah, obviously people care, you may need a better group of friends/associates if you believe otherwise.

        • Chris Mohammadi

I meant people, not governments. And I should have said in the US. Al the governments involved know who is supporting who.

    • Usual_Drain

Just call it for what it really is- The Muslim Brotherhood

    • kasu Theodore

      Then the Russians are correct!

      • Gregory Dittman

Sort of. Turkey is just a proxy nation. Saudi Arabia and its Sunni neighbors are also involved. Just look at the ISIS targets. Shiites, Kurds, westerners and various non Sunni groups living in Muslim countries. ISIS isn’t going after Jordan, Egypt or Kuwait for example.

    • Arthur

How ’bout that, the Christmas Turkey shows up…I mean what did anyone expect…Gobble, gobble, gobble, right to erdo-pig, of course…Naw he didn’t “know nottin”….Is there anyone in the area who is not ”SELFISH”, foremost and first, other than perhaps the Kurds, Chaldeans and Yazidis…, and l mean a 1000 mile radius from Baghdad…

    • Lyoto the Dragon Urine Machida

If it wasn’t for the Russians and Iranians, the Al Qaeda freaks would have had a free hand to set up their “caliphate” … facts are facts … those are the only two I see genuinely fighting Al Qaeda.

    • Ultra wi fi

Its obvious where this will lead.

    • Lyoto the Dragon Urine Machida

All under U.S. Control and Influence ==> Turkey, Qatar, Saudi Arabia

Is this news really a surprise?

The only reason we are in the middle east is OIL ,under the guise of national security, the United States has to butt thier nose into every bodies buisness all over the globe, there isn’t one country over there I would trust with my back. Face it if it was about WMD , why didn’t we go after North Korea, they don’t have anything we want, or I should say the eleite want, so our politicians don’t pull the string to send men and women in Harms way. If we were minding our own buisness, the twin towers would still be in place, we didn’t like it when the planes took them down did we, normal reaction, well the people in the Middle east don’t like our infidel presence in their countries, normal reaction. I do totally support our troops any where they are, they give of themselves to be totally forgotten by our government. Our Politicians are the ones that lack any intelligence.

      • OIL is national security. I remember when the Arabs boycotted the USA and refused to sell us oil. NATIONAL Security.

        • Parham Noori-Esfandiari

These corrupt Arab leaders are under the thumb of U.S, U.S
does not need to import oil. The oil crisis was designed to raise the gasoline
prices to rip off American public. The best national security is to be fair,
good deeds and being kind to humanity, but not to install corrupt rulers like
Wahhabi Saudis or bring carnage to Syria. There is a difference between national
security and interest of big corporate. There are corrupt leaders like Erdogan
of Turkey but majority of humanities are fair, and understand what is good.
Supporting terrorists directly and indirectly is not a good national security
          policy.

      • Grendle Jones

You are out of touch with reality. I’ll ask you, why didn’t we go after North Korea? Any treaties in place that would prevent that?

      • GenEarly

Our politicians have sold out to the oligarchs; that may or may not be “intelligent” depending upon the citizens of this country……..and “voting” may not be an option offered…..by the Feral Gov traitors within

    • Zola

      Is anyone surprised?

    • Gary Lee

All Muslims embrace the same sick ideology ISLAM.

Either they be terrorist or sympathizers.

Not all Muslims are terrorists but all terrorists to date have been Muslims.

      • esteban

None of what you say is true Gary. You speak in generalities which is the only way your brand of hate can be supported. Try learning a little about what you speak of before rambling on like a blithering idiot, or better yet, just shut up and keep your hate to yourself….

      • Grendle Jones

Your half right, world domination, violently if need be, is in their book. They will kill Jews, and any/everyone else, that doesnt subscribe to Islam. It’s in their book. It’s been going on for thousands of years, and a good way to tell if a Muslim is lying, is when he say’s Islam if a religion of peace, and we dont subscribe to radical Islam.

        • justesse

have you read the Quran??. I have. there is not single verse of hatred or world domination in it. I studied the complexities and the nuances of the verses of the Quran. The occasions and circumstances of revelation, that would refer to the historical context in which the verses were revealed.
as for islam being the religion of peace, it is bush who first called it “the religion of peace” after the 911 attacks, not the Muslims.

    • clernfimmel891

Washington is well aware of what’s going on: duplicity at work, and they’re taking sides in the proxy war with Iran. Anything new?

      • Grendle Jones

Care to share the facts and or proof behind your statements? Or…

    • Shirley Mitchem

There is NO ANSWER to Syria, ……it is up to the countries over there to fix what is wrong….and the U.S. Invasion of Iraq in 2003…set off that time bomb….YES! the U.S. had its hand it ! and the GOP is clueless to the answer that is why they bash the president for his policy’s over there! 2001-2008 was BAD! 6 of those 8 yrs these same complaining Republicans CONTROLLED BOTH HOUSES OF CONGRESS…when the Middle East fell apart!!!!

      Many can hate…but you can’t change facts………….

      • gary

The President has no foreign policy nor does he have a plan to win the war in the middle east…and he doesn’t listen to those in the military who know the enemy….

        • russianBear

Win a war? Lmao. When was the last time America win a war. If it wasn’t for us u would be speaking German now

          • Zam Zam

It works both ways. If the US didn’t enter WWII to create two separate fronts for the war against the Nazis, then the Russians would have to deal with the full force of the German military. US was also fighting the war the Pacific front as well when no one was really helping the US out there against the Japanese.
I think this comes down to a war with Russians and the US working hand in hand to dissolve all of radical islam from the middle east. If they wanted to, either of them could lay down their troops on the ground and bulldoze through ISIS in a matter of days. Within a month, there would be no more ISIS. They don’t want to. They’ll let ISIS grow. Allow for some profit off of ISIS. Allow ISIS to become an international threat. And when they feel the time is right, they are both going to pounce on ISIS and make a bunch of $$$ doing it. War = Profts.

      • Grendle Jones

sigh, another clueless idiot. Bush was behind 9/11 also, right?

    • Gary Lee

      Turkey’s Islamic Ottoman Empire

during and after WWI..Out of an approximate population of two million, some 1.5 million Armenians died…many girls were crucified after raped

Turkey; today there are fewer than 60,000 Armenians

First large-scale genocide of the twentieth century of christians

      • Zola

And Turkey refuses to apologize for it. Christians are being purged from the entire Middle East and sadly enough, no one seems to care. Our interest is oil and geo/political position. We should care about Christians but only Israel and Egypt protect Christians at least in some small fashion or another.

    • cairbuster

No wonder Nihad Awad, the grand wizard of CAIR, Council for American Islamic Radicalization, is back and forth to Turkey. His tweet from few days ago praised Turkey as being the only hope for “Muslims”. This is code phrase addressed to Jihadists to be. Go to Turkey young man.

    • Selim Yalvac
    • Selim Yalvac

ISIS is a product of the USA, NATO and Israel. Most readers do not want to believe this but it is true. Saudi Arabia and Qatar have also provided cash support at the request of the USA, and Israel treats wounded ISIS soldiers. There is a UN report on this (see below). There are several reasons for this: 1. ISIS targets Shiites and Alawites (Sworn enemies of Israel); 2) The choas created will be used to create an independent Kurdistan. This is the new Middle east, borders are being redrawn. http://www.washingtonsblog.com/2014/09/turkey-israel-directly-supporting-isis-al-qaeda-syria.html

      • Sean

Selim get your tinfoil hat on it’s falling off every comment you have made is BS

        • Selim Yalvac

Sean, for an average citizen who gets his/her information from Networks or totally unreliable printed/internet media this may be difficult for you to believe. Nothing in Middle East is what it seems like on the surface. Start reading European media or more unbiased independent media. You don’t expect the “controlled media” to say that the USA helped create ISIS, do you? No US government can then explain why we are fighting ISIS. Just like before the Iraq War we were led to believe about the existence of WMD, among other things.

      • gary

ISIS is the direct result of the Shiite government in Iraq who punished the Sunni’s because they treated the Shiites badly during the Hussein regime…when the Sunni’s had control of the government…

        • Selim Yalvac

That is true but that was used by the west to create ISIS.

      • frednova

ISIS is a product of ISLAME. Don’t try to foist the product of your barbaric nonsensical religion off on someone else. Why don’t you get out of it, Selim? Only a moron would stay in that mess seeing what they do.

        • russianBear

You are too simple to understand what he meant

        • Selim Yalvac

I did not insult you. Your choice of words only shows your bias and hatred. I am not a Muslim, but an atheist, for your information. But perhaps, that is even a worse label for people like you.

      • susanna_p

ISIS is a product of the Islamic retarded religion that is 2,000 years behind the civilized world. Christianity had 3 reforms and it is still not perfect. Islam has had none. That’s the difference.

        • russianBear

He is right. Don’t be ashamed Jew.

          • susanna_p

First of all, I am not a Jew, and second, you replied like and idiot! Typical muslim sympathizer.

    • bardavidi

No surprises here all Sunnah Muslims and their radical-dictators are tottally involved……How else would ISIS be able to export its Oil and drug revenues without the blessing of Turkey…?……How else could they smuggle their foreign fighters and Funds in and out of the Syrian theater without the cooperation of Turkish Intelligence….? Without Turkey ISIS,Al-sham,Islamic-army and Al-qaida would not be there and operational……..Of course with Erdogans official membership in the Muslim-Brotherhood they do get the inside scoop while his Intelligence and Army look the other way…….Facts do not lie…..

    • dennis powell

Turkey has turned into something less then a trusted ally. It may be time to cut them loose. Let’s see how they do against russia without NATO backing.

      • roger robertson

It wasn’t only turkey and canada, the u.s. is involved with isis as well, same as we were involved with al qaeda in afghanistan. We never learn from our mistakes.

      • Fred

What do you mean, “Turkey has turned into something less than a trusted ally”? They’ve been doing exactly what we want them to do – support ISIS! Don’t you get it? This is all smoke and mirrors to hide the fact from the American people that we are the evil empire to the world, not Russia or China.

    • Kit Carson

I thought it was common knowledge that Turkey supports the Islamic state. Contrary to denial by Obama and crew.

    • arrowr03

TURKEY-Dumn Muslim rats and US & NATO puppets get the F out of NATO Muslim criminals !

    • jaymack47

well nothing will be done about it.

    • Alex K

So Canada and Turkey supported ISIS?

    • Roma Maro

This is a Sunni vs Shiite war and we happen to be on the Sunni side, including their crazy murderous ones “ISIS” This fight is not about right or wrong, its about money, oil, and geopolitical control, other than that dammed the people.

    • guest

      Disband NATO.

      • Edgardo L. Perez-De Leon

It is easier to kick Turkey from NATO. When we kick US out then NATO will be disbanded.

        • Sean

Edgardo and what lil chite hole of a country are you from?

    • Jacob Jacob

Turkey has been stabbing from the back for all these years. Mr Putin already told this.

      • chassen Kachmam

Turkey do what NATO tells them

    • BearMountain15

Time to drop Turkey as NATO member.

      • Fred

Why drop Turkey? They’ve been doing exactly what they were instructed by our leaders in NATO and Washington – support ISIS to topple Assad so our terrorist friends the Saudi’s can build their pipeline up to Turkey and on to Eastern Europe and NATO can fly its flag above the current Russian military bases in Syria.

    • Dorrell Perry

No Surprise, Erdogan has shown support. Blew up when border guards inspected “humanitarian aid” trucks & uncovered weapons going to ISIS & paper reported. Later his security people took over control of the paper

    • Roland P

Old news, only these cockroaches were kept in the dark……

    • Full-Metal

Who didnt already know this from 3 years ago raise your hand.

      • WillyWallace

And then there was the meeting between the Turkish Ambassador and Chris Stevens that was to make a deal to send arms to terrorists in Syria and used to kill four Americans. An article from yesterday says that Obama was arming IS. Now this article. Was Obama aiding and abetting, as in Treason?

        • Full-Metal

To be honest Nixon did the same damn thing in Vietnam and got away with it, celebrity presidents are the worst.
